River's Divide

Ok, so on this track for the first time I programed the drums using Battery as a plug in Ableton (my high hats sound kinda weak and there isnt a lot of clever variation but Im sure that will come in time now that I have the programming process down), then layered the bass (I used side chain compression on the bassdrum for the first time and EQd the lows and mids on the bassline layers). I also got really excited about using short samples like the tugboat, a sword out of sheath, kitty (w/reverb stutter) and of course chimes.....gahhh I love that sparklyness!  One thing I need is to figure out how to automate my synths so I can have better transitions and control..like my bass needs to be all wahhhhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh shhhhhhhhwommmmmpppp. And I want more depth and range to that synth layer. Anyway comments and tips are fully appreciated!

Translating soundz from the soul is such a trip! Music is not just an audial experience for me...its visual, emotional, spiritual...I am directed by LOVE, drawing upon images from my psyche, stock footage of landscapes and adventures (Ive read a lot of fantasy and science fiction).
