Chinese Winter Sunrise [TPC "Winter Landscapes" Challenge]

This track was made for the first of The Piano Cloud's Wedding Challenges (Something Old) where artists were invited to submit a brand new version of a piece of music by a composer who is dead. I chose to do mine based on the children's lullaby "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".

Doctor Who Theme [WORK-IN-PROGRESS]

This is an audio file that I created as part of an experiment to see if I could display text within a spectrogram. I used Spectrasonics' Omnisphere synth to generate sine waves at various frequencies to construct the characters. I used Renoise to program the letters, numbers, etc. as individual patterns and then sequenced these patterns to form words. iZotope Insight was used as the spectrogram.

A Train Goes By [TPC Haiku Challenge]

This is a quick tune I done while testing the demo version of Synapse's DUNE VSTi. With the exception of a bit of compression at the output stage the track was created entirely using the default instruments and effects from the DUNE VSTi demo.

My submission to the Piano Soundboard's Nursery Rhyme Challenge. Here is a description of the challenge:

Piano Soundboard loves to give it's members challenges to get those "creative juices" flowing, so here is our first one for 2018, a Nursery Rhyme Challenge. Pick your favourite nursery rhyme & come up with a new arrangement for it, recording your final submission entirely or mostly on piano. Examples of these types of songs include "Baa Baa Black Sheep". "Hickory Dickory Dock". "Incy Wincy Spider" which come from the lexicon of the English language, but having a worldwide membership, there may be some from other countries I haven't heard as yet. You can stay somewhat close to the original, or branch off to "uncharted waters" if you wish. We've never done a challenge like this before, so very keen to hear the results.
