My synthcore rendition of the 1986 Depeche Mode b-side "Christmas Island". My hat is off to Martin Gore and Alan Wilder for creating such pleasing and complex patterns with such odd sounds. Recording this track was a sonic exercise in detail and timing that will always be a valuable experience to me as an artist. I hope that my respect for the original shows through alongside my own experimentation with random pescussive items and real heavy guitars in retrowave. Hope you enjoy 🎄🏝
