Our latest Neon Transmission is a refreshing reminder of the meaning of electro in all its cold, mechanical, cerebral-yet-undeniably funky glory. Veteran DJ and promoter Erkko is clearly no stranger to the genre, having hosted nights with such legends as I-F and Anthony Rother in the snowy depths of Central Fínland as far back as the 90s and remaining an active mainstay in the Finnish underground ever since. Recently, we invited Erkko to play on our Neon live stream from Humboldthain Club and he ended up delivering one of the finest selections of obscure, old-school electro we've heard in a long time.

Alessandro Parisi is an Italian electronic musician from Pordenone. He is also known as Hesperius Draco and involved in many projects such as Sacrestia del Santissimo Sangue and Dynamite Winter Palace. Alessandro describes his musical style as “Esoteric Disco“. Influenced by baroque and romantic classical music, he has created a blend of retrofuture and dark ritual electronic sound with references to past civilizations, spiritual harmonies and ancient sacred mysteries.

Alessandro's Directive V EP just came out on Frigio Records under his Hesperius Draco moniker.

Blender was earning a low key reputation around Hamburg before heading out to Berlin and flanking our recent Dreams Of Neon events with warm-up and closing sets. He is a musical director for Hamburg's own TISSUE Magazine, combining dedicated monthly digital mixtapes with editorial design from within the magazine's circle. Besides being a constant figure in the Dreams Of Neon nights, Blender is also a resident of Humboldthain Club and he recently started his own night called Fieber at Zur Klappe in Berlin.
