Born in the 80s Dreams grew up in a time when you actually had to have skills to step up to the mic and not just a catchy hook or autotune. Artist like Tupac, Nas, Jay-Z, Bone Thugs and Biggie dominated the rap scene in the 90s. Dreams was influenced by all of these artists. His music has been called soul rap, revolutionary rap and R&G. Definitely a breath of fresh air in a rap industry full of copy and paste artist.
