German-based producer, Tweakz steps up onto Transparent Audio with a 4 track EP, exploring different styles and sonics! Known for his bouncy basslines and melodic harmonics, Tweakz really shows his versatile style with his vibe-centric forthcoming release entitled the 'Affairs EP'. Constructed of 3 solo tracks covering the spectrum with a wide range of flavours, we are sure there is a little something for everyone in this release. 

Kicking things off with an extremely addictive upbeat summer anthem called ‘Got Me’, Tweakz demonstrates how liquid and funk go hand in hand together with a snappy vocal lead complemented by a floaty bassline and groovy synth lead. The title track ‘Affairs’ takes us on a totally different path, showing Tweakz’s perceptive of a moody dancefloor roller, consisting of a brain rattling sub groove intertwined with techy mid range growls and tight drums, a formula we know and love too well.  Drawing the EP to close with a luscious liquid track, ‘Memoirs’ hits all the right elements from its high sub-bass tones to the short stabbing vocal phases connected together with multiple chord progressions to create a dreaming wonder of emotion 

Accompanied by a remix from Hospital Records / Soulvent Records Askel, who showcases a mesmerising melodic but dancefloor flip to the original, the 'Affairs' EP is a body of work that'll make for superb listening at home and on the dancefloor, as well as being the perfect soundtrack to for summer.

Josi Devil lands on Hessle Audio with the much-anticipated 'Make It Better/Restless Sleep' – the label's first release of 2025. Already supported by Four Tet, Joy O, Interplanetary Criminal and many more, it is the closest Hessle Audio has come to releasing a double-sided UKG single since HES001 by TRG. Blending unsettling ambience and distorted textures with the euphoric and upfront energy of its vocal sample, it transcends a singular description.

The Bristol-based producer has previously released on Innamind, BFDM, Sector 7 and Nervous Horizon. With an uncompromising approach to sound design, Josi carves out his own instantly recognisable sound at an intersection between tradition and futurism.

Illinois-based producer Zvrra expands her discography with the four-track EP “Mica,” released on Munich’s ever reliable QEONE label.

There once was a Zvrra so rare, Who lived on a techno-swept prairie with care,
With her Wooden Rain Tool, So bizarre and so cool, That made rhythms beyond all compare!

She tumbled her beats like a shower, On dry wood for hour after hour,
While butterfly wings Made glistening things, As beetles turned gold by her power!

The musical Zvrra would play Her hypnotic percussion all day,
In QEONE’s domain, Through sunshine and rain, While breakbeats and melodies sway!

Oh wonderful, strange little Zvrra, From Illinois, not from Sierra,
Her ambient chirps And kaleidoscope blips, Made listeners feel so much clearer!

Criso, a relatively new name to Dubstep, not only in the UK but also in America, delivers the “Make Some Noise” EP on Mala’s DEEP MEDi.

“It wasn’t until 2021 that I started getting into dubstep, actual dubstep.”

Bootlegs, EPs and mixes gained early attention from the likes of Skream, Mala, Hamdi and live shows supporting Of The Trees, EPROM, Truth and Ternion Sound + more soon followed.

Criso’s 1st UK release features verses from Pav4n and Rakjay on “Strictly Business”, originally a Strategy bootleg, as well a co-production with the mysterious Crastinate on “Dialed”.

Criso will be making some noise in the UK scene with this 4 track EP :  29th July 2025
