This is a remix i did for the German lad called Piska Power - real name Stefan Junge - for my friends label quite a few years back. 

In typically turtle-like fashion i was a little late for the release party then so this one sat on the back-burner simmering away until i handed it over to my friend Chuggy from the 'Emotional Recordings Group'. He already had in his possession a few other remixes, dubs end edits of mine that had never been released and suggested we do a 'collected works'

So, here we are - one of those tracks from 'Drums Ov Sage 1' ready for digital consumtion with the intention of physical distribution.

I can't claim to be a master story-teller, but i can claim to have a need to tell one - whether you enjoy it or not well thats your opinion. 

I hope that this story guides your dreams and takes you to far away places. The hero - in this case i think it's Alice Coltrane - opens and closes this story with otherworldly beauty that i could no longer leave left in the private collection and inbetween fearless time-travellers provide moments of sorrow, bliss and bent ethereal beauty.

This is a track i wrote depicting the drive down a stretch of highway between Canberra & Braidwood. Its a pretty sad sight actually - one of the most dangerous places to be a wombat or kangaroo - with hundreds of them killed on that stretch of road every week. This one goes out to all those little wild fellas just trying to mind their business.

The reason i started collating the sleep mix series was a means to being exposed to great music and sonic backdrops for myself to chill out to. Moments to keep me in a calm state of mind.

Funny fact  - Dj Weemon is actually my chief legal advisor (seriously). He keeps me calm when life really gets heated - so it would only seem natural that he could supply an excellent soundtrack to cooling me, and in turn you, out. 

So - as i have been advised by Weemon - i can advise you to chill out, relax, and not worry, because we got you on this one, its time to hit the ‘horizontal’ button and enjoy another sleep mix.
