She is an artist who defies simple categorization by genre or scene. Mareena’s work as a DJ, producer, and curator stems from a deep desire to create meaningful connections between music and people. Her roots go back to a time when club culture was rougher, and perhaps more honest. Yet instead of clinging to nostalgia, Mareena continuously looks forward, digs deeper, and explores new sonic and emotional spaces. With a finely tuned sense for atmosphere, she creates a sound that unfolds gradually, reveals layers of complexity, and fully envelops the listener. Her musical signature is marked by warmth and attention to detail, shaped by an intuitive understanding of contrast and dramaturgy.

Whether in dark club nights or contemplative ambient formats, which she presents through her label UNRUSH, Mareena builds soundscapes that challenge and support in equal measure. She never puts herself at the center, but instead uses her music to establish genuine connection.

In an interview with Andre Kronert, Mareena takes us on a journey. From a small village near Rostock to the legendary catacombs of the old Tresor club in Berlin, where she has held a residency for over twelve years. She shares memories of attending the Love Parade with her family in the 1990s and recounts how techno eventually pulled her to Berlin, where she found diversity, freedom, and her musical home. Speaking openly and reflectively, with her characteristic northern charm, she talks about her early days, setbacks along the way, and why she continues to curate, perform, and stay loyal to vinyl with unwavering passion.

From the Morevi Records night at Horoom on June 13th comes this next instalment in the series. In a little over a decade, Separat has proved his mettle behind decks in his hometown Aachen, current base Cologne and other places like Gewölbe, Tresor or Openground. His sound has been instrumental in the local scene, a true underground talent and one of the heads behind Brandwerk. His press presence is fairly light, and a keen focus on his sound the most critical part of his work: groovy, immersive and playful. Fun through and through, with tones and charging rhythms which are designed for dancing the night away. This leading light from the Berlin scene is up next with 85 minutes of feel good tunes guaranteed to get you moving. Partok’s rise as go-to DJ for clubs like De School, Blitz, Basement and Panorama Bar is really no surprise. The recipe? Dreimal T is a DJ, out of the experimental/underground music collective - Scheißmukke.

Celebrated for his deep-rooted passion for electronic music and his skillful fusion of influences from old school minimalist techno, chicagoan ghetto house, microhouse and dub.

His distinctive sound is characterized by well-chosen records and a complex mixing style that reflects his deep musical insight and attention to detail.

As a self-proclaimed 'synth head', his retro-futuristic audio aesthetic also finds its way into his own productions. Using vintage samplers and synthesizers, he creates tunes that sound like they have come out of a time capsule.

Dreimal T's never-ending quest for unique sounds and his timeless spirit set him apart from your average disc spinner.

He is the one who connects different generations on the same dance floor by taking them back in time.
