I heard this mashup in a viral video and instantly loved it, but when I searched for it, none of the edits were clean enough. So I made my own.  Here are two of my favorite songs of all time combined together, "The Veldt" vs. "Cinema".

Montréal-based producer and live act CRi teams up with Half Moon Run on ‘Astray’, the second single from his forthcoming sophomore album ‘Miracles’, out September 22.

CRi’s unique blend of high-energy basslines, dreamy multi-lingual vocals and upbeat melodies have made him a household name in his native Quebec, and having won two ASDIQ awards with his debut album Juvenile (2020), Christophe Dubé is on the brink of a major international success.

On this, the second single from his forthcoming album ‘Miracles’, CRi teams up with indie-alternative band and fellow Quebecers Half Moon Run. With hundreds of millions of streams and two JUNO awards to their name, the three-piece is one of the most successful Canadian exports in recent years and is an exciting addition to CRi’s already impressive list of musical collaborators.

On ‘Astray’, CRi’s high-energy and upbeat melodies blend with Half Moon Run’s group vocal harmonies resulting in a perfectly balanced indie-electronic offering.

‘Astray’ with Half Moon Run is out on Anjunadeep on August 15, and ‘Miracles' will follow on September 22.

CRi unveils his very own rework of ‘Astray’ feat. Half Moon Run, the second single from his latest artist album, ‘Miracles’.

Canadian indie-electronic sensation Christophe Dubé has been making waves with his second album, ‘Miracles’, which dropped in September and has already garnered an impressive 16 million streams across all streaming platforms.

‘Astray’, the second single from the album, featured the talented and fellow Canadian alternative trio Half Moon Run and was a pivotal moment in CRi’s album campaign, garnering impressive support from DSPs and marking CRi’s first appearance on Toronto’s landmark Dundas Square billboards.

CRi has recently embarked on a 17-date live tour across the United States and Canada, sharing the stage with songwriters and frequent collaborators Jesse Mac Cormack and Sophia Bel. The tour kicked off in October in CRi’s hometown of Montréal, where he graced the iconic venue MTelus, which has previously played host to the likes of Radiohead and RÜFÜS DU SOL.

Adding to CRi’s achievements, his rework of ‘Astray’ has become the most-played track on SiriusXM Chill. In this remix, CRi presents a faster, more upbeat version of the song, characterised by a thumping kick and low synths, while still preserving the euphoria and melancholia of the original.

Sam Feldt ‘Show Me Love’ (EDX's Indian Summer Remix) (Spinnin')

With a Beatport number 1 already in 2015 under his belt for his remix on Nora En Pure's 'Uruguay', as well as a debut release via Ministry of Sound's Hed Kandi Records for 'Want You', Swiss producer EDX is back to present a remix of Sam Feldt's 'Show Me Love'. 

Scheduled for release this summer via Spinnin' Records and premiered on BBC Radio 1 by DJ Danny Howard, EDX's signature nu-disco sound is a perfect match for Feldt's unique remake of the 90's house classic. By layering a melodic bassline and uplifting synth-hooks over the records delicate vocals, EDX perfectly encapsulates the romantic soul of the original and thus delivers an infectious summer anthem in his remix. 

Through constantly sourcing out fresh new club music via his weekly 'No Xcuses' podcast, as well as a demanding tour schedule that recently saw him embark on an extensive US tour and subsequent dates in South Africa and Indonesia, EDX is a producer with his ear firmly to the ground.
