Two decades since its original release, Mood Therapy are pleased to breathe new life into the underground soulful house track, If Only, originally released on the Genial vinyl imprint from London.

The original EP received support from legends of the scene such as Graeme Park, Mr Scruff and Jon Marsh and If Only was the standout track, with its French tinged disco house blended with soulful vocals.

Along with the original version, the new EP also includes the deeper sounding Crimson re-work and a brand new vocal breakbeat track entitled "Open our Eyes".

Mood Therapy is an alias of producer Stephen Slade, best known for his Infinity Plus One techno breaks tracks on Manchester's legendary Drenched label. Stephen has been undergoing a renaissance of late with vinyl releases on Berlin based Molar, Arpanet and Circagroove with a number of new projects in the work.

Belle Humble is a platinum selling songwriter who has writing credits with the likes of Paloma Faith, Karen Harding and Red Velvet. Belle has also been the voice of many club anthems over the last 15 years, notably the dubstep smash Cracks, as well as uplifting tunes in the EDM genre, Phoenix (We Rise), and Sander Van Doorns No Words.

Introducing yet another sonic tale by Moving Pictures coming from the overseas. Our forthcoming record marks label's 10th vinyl release and welcomes Philadelphia based artist Alex Burkat to the roster. 

The EP features two original tracks by Alex Burkat and Hungarian musician Kin Teal, including slow-burning remix from Los Angeles based artist Dean Grenier. Last but not least, label's in-house power duo Aerial join in on remix duties and deliver a hypnotic closing track.

This particular release was born out of a unique, transformative period in my life. I was on a journey, not just physically but also spiritually, traveling through the stunning, awe-inspiring landscapes of the Baja Peninsula. This was no ordinary journey; it was a pilgrimage of sorts, a voyage of self-discovery and artistic exploration. As I traversed this rugged paradise, I was equipped with nothing more than my trusty computer and a MIDI keyboard, the tools of my trade.

In this tranquil solitude, I found myself in a state of pure bliss and euphoria, a state of being that transcended the everyday and mundane. The majestic ocean, stretching out endlessly before me, served as an ever-present muse, a constant source of inspiration that pushed me to new creative peaks. The rhythm of the waves crashing against the shore, the salty tang of the ocean air, the endless blues of the sea and sky, all seeped into my work, infusing it with a sense of place and time.

The opportunity to make music in such an environment was not just an advantage; it was a genuine blessing, a gift that I cherished and made the most of. Each day was an invitation to create, to pour my soul into the music, to capture the essence of this extraordinary journey in sound. Thus, the music I composed during this time became a direct reflection of these sublime feelings. It mirrored the profound impact that this journey, this communing with nature, had on my creative process. It became a testament to this unique period in my life, an audible diary etched into the fabric of my music.
