MOTZ Premiere: Faster Horses - Lost Arts [AKR003]

Our second premiere of the week, comes from one of the most in demand producers and DJ’s in techno right now, Hadone. The French based producer has delivered a clean cut, rhythmic, catchy and melodic dance floor weapon, that’s been beautifully all rolled up into just over six minutes.

The prolific producer has delivered the goods once again. Having made some of the biggest techno hits of the last few years, he puts his Hadone trademark on yet another project. Tracks like ‘Hope Reminds Me Of Her’, ‘Timing The Passion’, ‘On The Edge Of Adhesion’, ‘Miles Away’ and more have culminated into the millions of streams on various platforms for the French producer.

The track is driven by a pounding kick dum, fleeting synth lines, sharp percussion hits and an encapsulating vocal loop. The later part of the track see’s Hadone put his trademark euphoric stamp on the track. Long and wide pads take centre stage for ultimate dance floor, euphoria from the young French maestro.

The ‘Tetragonal EP’ marks the fourth and final release of the Stone Techno series for this year. German label, Third Room have collaborated with the Ruhr Museum foundation in order to create a very unique concept which refers to the notable history of the Ruhr Area. Delivering a brilliant 4 track VA with music from Dax J, Hadone, Colin Benders & Felix Fleer.

Previously established as an event and podcast series based in Dublin, Yin Yang signifies its next step with a vibrant compilation of tracks which touch on dark undertones of techno right through to brighter mutations of DnB, hard-hitting jungle, futuristic electro and beyond. Supplied by flourishing talents across Ireland, UK, Europe, America and South-East Asia.



"Combining a stellar pool of sounds from across the spectrum of electronic music, Yin Yang marks a new beginning with the launch of its label and subsequent release of an exceptional 25 track various artist compilation. Complex Contrast is an amalgamation of distinct ideas, forming a cohesive soundscape to truly represent the label's essence."



When opposites attract and align into the cycles of primary chaos and energy, seeping into elements of movement, dance and music to result in a new state of unwavering balance, the compilation is a prime example. 



 ‘Complex Contrast’ mirrors the vision of the imprint as a whole, bringing together a multitude of textures, tones and themes that collide and weave into one other for a visceral experience. A deluge of different soundscapes complete the V/A and every artist featured has brought an element of their own aesthetic to shape the direction of the label. The compilation breathes in tandem with the listener and offers a slant in the shadows of what else is to come on Yin Yang’s schedule. BTS collective is proud to present the third release on their label: ‘Hack The Fear’ EP by Marek Nalikowski. The Polish producer’s debut digi EP consists of 3 original tracks backed with remixes from ISNT, Abu Zeinah, and Piotr Figiel.
Opening the set is ‘Spin System’, a big room roller more than apt for proper peak time action. Nalikowski ups the tempo on ‘Rattlesnake’, a fast and furious affair hammering down relentlessly from start to finish. The final original is the title track ‘Hack The Fear’ which sees the producer switch to stepping mode, the result being a funky and bleepy workout complete with a menacing, cyberdelic atmosphere.

The EP continues with Piotr Figiel’s remix of ‘Hack The Fear’, a tense stomper showcasing his signature style. Following next is ISNT’s reinterpretation of ‘Spin System’ which com- bines an infectious, raw groove with unexpected breakdowns. Finally, Abu Zeinah delivers another remix of ‘Hack The Fear’ driven by a manic synth line with elements of the original carefully built around it.
