'Weiss City Vol 1' showcases this producers vast talent by embracing house music's rich heritage with deep jacking grooves, warm rumbling subs, sweet sharp percussion and delicate vocal treatment. The anonymous up-and-coming Weiss returns for the release of the highly anticipated ‘Weiss City Vol 2’. Bursting onto the scene earlier this year, the illusive Weiss has already captured the imagination of producers, press and the public alike with his inspiring take on old school house. The first in this series of EPs, ‘Weiss City Vol 1’, garnered support from the likes of Shadow Child, Ninetoes, Pleasurekraft, Noir, Bontan, Groove Armada, and more with ‘My Sister’ gaining airplay on B-Traits’ Radio 1 show and successfully taking over the Beatport deep house chart at No.3. Now Weiss returns to take the ‘Weiss City’ series a step further.

‘Weiss City Vol 2’ establishes Weiss’ take on house, as he presents three stand out tracks with his trademark punchy old school drums, deep rumbling bass and clever vocal hooks. Leading the charge ‘If I Ever Dance’ is destined to follow on from ‘My Sister’, taking over the more underground dance floors, propelled by an unforgettable groove and soulful vocals. With a simple and sweet melody alongside an unforgettable vocal, ‘Devil In The Sky’ is one for classic house enthusiasts wrapped in the classic M1 organ. 
Finally, ‘Ghetto Boy’ takes us deeper and darker for an after party feel; it’s all about the groove.

‘The Guitar Man’ showcases Weiss’s sound true to form, with a hip shaking groove, dark rumbling bass and an unforgettable vocal lick that locks you in, all encased in those old school drums and clever sample cuts, this is Weiss at his best and will once again please his peers with another fine offering.

Sofi De La Torre has a special charm, the sound of her voice inspires millions of thoughts and melodies and that was no exception for our star team composed by Andre Crom and Chi Thanh, a now steady force conquering the scene both with their original work and always hunting for fresh talent such as hers for their exciting dancefloor remakes. The beautiful and incredibly talented Spanish singer now living in berlin was kind enough to let our crew express their own interpretation of "Vermillion" (her new Single coming out in June) and as always, they turned it into another dancefloor essential full of warmth and deep feelings.

The song builds up with vibe synth stabs and horns that create a perfect atmosphere for the sweet vocals while a groovy bassline and housy drums add the perfect dance factor to the whole thing, all constructed with finesse and great taste. A true masterpiece that will sure ring in everyone's ears for a long time.

Andre Crom and Chi Thanh have already produced new big tunes with Sofi, which will be released also very soon!

While summer is in full swing, we present you a fine package of brand new remixes of Ron Carroll’s house classic “The Sermon”.
