Chronicles of the Last Light Spirals, Vol. I" is a neo-noir journey in neon, where the spirit of the ‘90s collides with the darkness of futuristic hip-hop and electronic spirals. Gritty beats, deep bass, echoes of boom bap, glitched samples, and the smoky streets of a night city – all woven into the story of the last light trying to break through the darkness. This is the soundtrack for walking down wet asphalt in a hoodie, with a shadow at your back and the unshakable feeling that the city is speaking to you

Where some might look for opportunities to make profit for themselves, we aim to find ways in which we can provide for others. With the help of Cadence & Cause, each compilation released through black. will directly benefit those in need through partnerships with different charitable organizations. For a small (or large) donation you not only receive an entire compilation but also the piece of mind that just by sharing our passion for bass music you did your part in helping someone less fortunate. 

black. Vol. 1 features Youth On Record which provides at-risk teens in the Denver, CO area with access to music education as well as guidance to succeed as leaders of tomorrow. Almost all members of black. have been fortunate enough to have some sort of music education and now it’s our pleasure to help provide someone else with the same opportunity."
