I played all the tracks on this song. My name is Drew Copper. My email address is drewcosta@live.com if you want to get a hold of me. This song means a lot to me. It's my prayer to the universe for the will to live. It got me out of a really dark time in my life but when I recorded it I was still not doing well. I was addicted to meth and alcohol and I saw no future for myself. But I had hope that one day it would change and it did. It took a while but playing this song over and over on the streets for people passing by comforted me that eventually, if I stayed alive, things would change. And they did. 4/8/2017 is my clean date. But I will never judge if you love drugs. I study drugs today; i love them i just don't do them. This song is called 'The Telephone Song' because I named it something, don't ask me what, and my mom could never remember the name so she took the part of the song she could decipher as a phone and started calling it that. It stuck. Just because they left you and the sky's a little gray, doesn't make you any less alive. And live for those who aren't. They're calling and it's not the same cause you're not the same. But you can stare into the blank canvas ahead; where chaos and peace blend together.
