Our next guest mix comes from Jonny MacAllister, chief of Warriors of the Dystotheque. Warriors of The Dystotheque is the brain child of Jonny Mac an Electronic Artist from Northern Ireland who from 2000 / 2011 performed across the globe alongside Phil Hartnoll form Orbital and Leeroy from The Prodigy. He also survived 2 tours with Shaun Ryder & Bez from The Happy Mondays. Jonny held residencies at Coastline, Savannah, Bar M & Eden in Ibiza, playing sunset and Breaks sets on the Island. 2019 saw him tour Thailand playing across the islands with a memorable sunset gig in Koh Samui at The Social.

Warriors of the Dystotheque was conceived in 2014 and since then its been steadily making noise with 8 ep's and an album titled “Madness in the Method” all gaining major support across daytime and evening radio shows on BBC 6 Music, BBC R1, BBC’s Ulster, Foyle and Coventry as well as Ireland’s RTE2 FM, KEXP and more.

More recently during lockdown and in the middle of the current pandemic, WotD actually collaborated with Howie B (U2, Massive Attack, Bjork) and released the track No Borders exclusively on Bandcamp via Howie's Pussyfoot Records. This gained a place on Bandcamp's front page and inclusion on its weekly tracks to watch, 1 of only 50 that week, and with all proceeds from the track going to the Black Minds Matter UK charity.

Another charity, and very worthy cause, WotD have been involved in is the "Put it Down" campaign, started by youth workers and musicians in Coventry after the rise in knife crime across the UK but mainly in England. Several of these fatalities have been on the streets of Coventry, one of which was a friend of WotD. To help spread the message of Put It Down, Neville Staple, founding member of The Specials, who lost his grandson Fidel to the knife, went into the studio producing the track "Put It Down" and got WotD to remix the track.

The release saw support across the UK at seminars and was released on Spotify and other notable platforms. They were also working on a stage production to tour schools and youth centres highlighting the scale of the problem before the pandemic took hold, with more music planned for the future which WotD are to be involved in.

Paisley Dark radio on Rising Edge presents Man2.0.
Mark Bailey aka MAN2.0 has been splicing together sounds longer than he can remember, as a teen he graced the microphones of some terrible covers bands as well as DJing some of the most hedonistic house parties that Hayes Town had to offer, while by day working at the local record store. After throwing away his guitars and buying an appregiator his music gained a bit of attention from the Ransom Note and was taken under the wing of Tronik Youth. From the age of 18 he regularly attended Fabric and the now defunct End nightclub and Turnmills immersing himself in London’s club scene. With forthcoming releases on Nein and Night Noise, he gets the opportunity to attempt to emulate the sounds of his heroes Laurent Garnier, Darren Emerson, Ivan Smagghe, Andrew Weatherall and Justin Robertson.

Ed's first London Club experience in 1989 at a basement hotel in Paddington with Weatherall at the helm, changed his life forever.
Ed has a long history of promoting Underground parties around London and beyond, embracing the do it yourself attitude of club promotion in warehouses, scruffy basements, boats and film studios, whilst championing the darker side of house and techno with Twistedfunk & Wriggle.
Some brief “commercial” production success in the noughties, sent him running back to the nearest warehouse where his taste remains…
His current focus is broadcasting, and the curation of his global fortnightly podcast “sonic Service” championing a world class roster of DJ’s and producers that remain true to the underground sound of House & Techno.
2021 will finally see some new solo production output  as digital renegade as well as a new partnership with Microstate music.
