This took place on 4/30/22. NYC crews Rapture and Import/Export made the trek to Miami to combine forces with Pew Pew for an epic night to close out their month long pop-up.

What an incredible experience playing with Deep Playa for their 2 year anniversary! For a brief moment in July 2022 on a not-to-be-named beach in Brooklyn, we were transported to a magical world of sand and fire and techno.

Deep Playa has set a new high bar for the art of the renegade party with flamethrowers, lasers, (a giant moon!), and a stellar crowd. The energy was incredible throughout and each set built on the next.

Thanks to all the homies for coming out to dance with us. Much gratitude for all the new friends I made that night as well.

This was a banger... had a blast playing for my friends to celebrate my 39th birthday in style.

I played a few of my all time faves in here which is always nice to be able to fit into a set.

Aerobic always seems to fit the moment and the Marc Rebillet edit is insane... after I heard it for the first time on Twitter I dug around an edit and found this incredible treatment by Vic Halley. Just perfect.

The Eternal Bunshine of the Spotless Behind

I’m excited to share the recoding of my set for the Greymattrs x Members Only collab. It kicks off with deep melodic vibes to warm up and moves harder and more progressive as nighttime transforms to early morning.

I had a blast playing to an exceptional crowd (thanks everyone for coming out despite the long day of raging!) and spinning alongside the class acts of Gab Rhome, Alex Cecil, and Daniel Cowel.

Playing my first Members Only party is particularly special to me - 3 years ago when I moved to NYC and started exploring the music scene, Members Only stood out as an iconic after party with great vibes, bringing in some great acts from around the world and helping inspire me to DJ and produce. I hope it’s the first of many. 

Special thanks to Pasquale for bringing a recorder, Marjan for taking great videos, Rekha for being my #1 promoter and wife, but especially Tony Defas for bringing me on board and trusting me with this special opportunity.

I'm honored to have been invited to play the opening party of "The Sub Playa". We really broke it in that night - crowd was great, space was great, and tunes were on point all around.

Inara - "to bring light into darkness".

The name feels apt as the last few months have been such an emotional rollercoaster, with both darkness and light. One of the "lights" has been the amazing people around me and the music we have shared together.

This set was born from the inaugural event named Inara hosted on the Rapture Twitch channel. I can say it was an absolute pleasure to play alongside Gregory, Shaman, and Bulla. I got to close out the virtual event with possibly one of my favorites sets in recent memory.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed playing it.

Inara Premiere - Drew Proud

No official burn happened this year, yet we came together in the truest spirit and created our own experience. New friends and old, we created a weekend together in a house nestled next to the beauty of Zion national park. We made something totally unique and magical - a reflection of all of us who shared our time an energy with each other. We didn’t need that specific spot in the Black Rock Desert to be great.

This set was recorded during our “Berlin Banger” theme night. Straddling the borders of techno, tech house, and progressive, this set was a journey through whips and chains and leather and grunge. We partied until the sun was a faded memory in our own special version of Berlin.

The last 6 minutes of the set is something I added in post production as a tribute to the weekend. Someone captured audio of our friend Meira’s beautiful impromptu recitation of “A Burner’s Prayer” during our own man burn ceremony, which I used to create a track to memorialize the moment.
