This one I recorded a while ago, originally was supposed to have other Death Dealaz member Kryptik T on it. But I got impatient and recorded another verse... the perks of having a studio in ones apartment. This song has grown on me over time, and even though I plan on rerecording and remixing the song, i want to get this demo out for people to leave me feedback.

This is the first single that I recorded at Otto Labs, engineered by Kyle Otto. The beat was made by Yon Li. So this is my first venture from the Death Dealaz group and trying out my own thing. My friends call me Token, mainly because of my 420 habits.  So i found it fitting that this would be the subject matter of the single.

Whats up, Im DTL. That stands for Drew The Legend. I'm a member of the Death Dealaz and this is the start of my solo project tentativley titled "G4L- Geek 4 Life". The group Death Dealaz is still together, I just wanted to expand and see what else I can do. I'm not gonna lie, songs may be all over the place as I redefine who Drew THe Legend is, but this time I wont be constricted by concept or image. 

My influences are Tech N9ne, Twista, Eminem, Tupac and the dreams of becoming the best. My shit, I talk about everything that makes me who I am. My friends know me as Token, the girls call me Drewbie, and to two boys I am Daddy. Im a server/ artist/ rapper and this is my story.
