Hosted and curated by the label head himself alongside Armada Music’s U.K. label manager and co-host Ben Malone, the one-hour show will be broadcast every Monday on MixCloud, SoundCloud, YouTube and Facebook.

Mixed live in audio and video from the recording studio in Armada Music’s HQ in Amsterdam, each episode of Armada Next offers up a showcase of new music and undiscovered gems. Containing exclusives features and premieres, a Track Of The Week and an Armada Music classic, the radio show circles the sweet spot between global club culture and underground relevance as it spotlights Maykel Piron’s pick of next-gen records and peak-time anthems. Armada Next - Episode 81

Nobody can predict the future, but there are some artists so fizzing with potential that their success seems predestined. Every fourth Tuesday of the month, One World Radio shines a light on the next crop of future stars to look out for. In an exclusive one-hour show 4 unique artists will be selected and given an opportunity to showcase their talent.
This month's Future 4 are: Keanu Silva, Chico Rose, Hollaphonic, and Corey James.

The Future 4 - Corey James

PHW proudly presents another astonishing release from the Australia based producer, and rising talent, Alex H. For those following the progressive house scene over the years, know we love to find new fresh and talent blood and Alex is one of them, we feel truly great to push through our label. This time he has contributed with a massive 4 track EP for us, where he showcase his superb talent to build chords progressions and a melodic flow that goes beyond heaven.

First up is a mighty production named as “Kariba”, taken from the town in Zimbabwe, a country where Alex has been brought up before moving to Australia. This is a sun-drenched progressive house track, where he showcase all of his talents. Be ready for melodic hooks, a warm atmosphere and something ready for the sunny days.

Following in the same footsteps, is the 2nd act, “Right In The Feels”. This is an amazing  journey in sound design, where Alex builds a blend mix between driving chords, a mystic feel that is built up with massive pads and all the clever piano melodies that he is getting great recognition for. It’s another beauty from this mastermind. 

The 3rd production included this time is another progressive beast that is to take you by storm. “Immortal” as this baby is baptized as is a melody driven act, where Alex layers up some magnificent melodies and emotional synth and pad riffs to build something truly summer-ish vibes, it’s another lovely piece of musical art.
With “Follow Your Heart”, Alex closes the door on this release. This is yet again an astonishing production where he layer up some pure progressive brilliance yet again. A warm atmosphere is leading the wav with a lot of sound brought on from sunny beaches, Everything works in harmony with each other here, and you will have an excellent journey to play over and over again.

All in all, a wonderful release is here from Alex, and we at PHW are so happy to see him back with us once again, it’s brilliant!

From time to time we have had the pleasure to introduce you all to the music coming from an artist that always stayed true to his melodic progressive style and we are as happy as ever to turn our attention to Japan as we see a delightful return from a long time friend of the label, AKI Amano. For those of you staying through to the genre knows all about his dreamy style of production. This time around he returns with another original named as “Sunny Place”. 

This one, is as warm and complete as most of his music is as he deliver in full flare again. With dreamy melodies he takes us on another journey through the style we learnt to love years ago. It’s another proud moment to see AKI Amano return to the PHW label and we took it on with open arms since day one. 

To flavour a little bit more, we see another 2 artists returning on remix duty with US bound producer Will Canas taking on the first one. With his trademark melodic style, use of vocal additions and with keeping the feel really warm and sunny, he sure is to hit you once again with his music. It’s definitely one for the beaches, sunrise and sundown that will be on the repeat button. Welcome back Will, another proud moment in our back catalog. 

We also see the return from Slovakian duo Mark & Lucas that once again delivers a plethora of melodic structures with their ever growing alias. As always they are keeping it warm, building epic layers of sounds that is so well selected. If the sun is your hero and something that keeps you in the good mood, we can’t say anything less than that this brilliant little melodic progressive gem will give everything from shivers to brilliant pictures on your retina. Superb stuff from an act that always has a place with us on PHW!
