This last year has been wild. Lots of shows, lots of mixes, lots of love. This has been one of my favorite sets from the last year: opening up for Dublink in September. More so, producers who like to bend genres will always have a place near my heart, and play button. Deep Hip - Hop Minimix

I sat down after last weeks set and contemplated what I had been doing wrong. Usually I pre-plan half my sets one month and then just create a playlist and wing it the next. This night I found the sweet spot between the two. While mixing riddim and double drops isn't my strongest skill set, I wanted to throw down as hard as possible with the small window of prep time I had. I picked some of my favorite tracks over the last year and some I had just discovered in the last week and threw them in a playlist. And then I just let loose. I decided my opening track on stage. I decided to chop some shit that killed it, and some that didn't. I tried to be as natural as possible and it really paid off. Thank you to Wavy, the huge crowds that came to support, and everyone else for having a generally amazing time. Y'all are what make this worth it!

p.s. pregame this mix with some ibuprofen cuz this rage is gonna make your whole body hurt
