This mix takes a slightly different approach: a blend of tracks I’ve really been enjoying lately, mixed with some gentle experimentation across the House spectrum. With and without vocals, stronger and softer moments, deeper and more playful vibes. A flow I had a lot of fun building.

Hailing from Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, FEC (Francisco Favela) has been a prominent figure in the electronic music scene since 2012. His debut single, “Evil Touch,” released on Submarine Vibes, marked the beginning of a journey that would see his music featured on esteemed labels like Steyoyoke, KDB Records, Dialtone Records, Balkan Connection South America, WOOD (Spain), and his own imprint, Anathema Records. ￼ ￼

FEC’s sound is characterized by deep, atmospheric textures and a blend of organic and electronic elements. His recent works, such as the “It Happens At Night” EP on Renaissance Records and “Puzzles of Existence” on Eastern Standard, showcase his evolving style and commitment to pushing sonic boundaries. ￼

As a resident DJ at Hardpop Club in Juárez, one of Mexico’s premier electronic music venues, FEC has shared the stage with international artists, further cementing his reputation as a dynamic performer. Through Anathema Records, he continues to curate and promote innovative sounds, contributing significantly to the global electronic music community. ￼
