Manual Movement November 2023: Amir Telem

I'm ending the year with a really nice two hour mix flowing through organic house and into progressive house.

I recently joined the team at @3rdavenue as a label manager in charge of remixes. This has been a lot of fun and am thankful to Dom for the opportunity! It's also given me the inspiration to get start playing more progressive house. 

Dom has also instilled a lot of confidence in my production skills. My first three remixes are finished with J Khobb - Idyllic Moment remix released earlier this month on @futureavenuelabel. One of these remixes is on this mix and I really happy with how it turned out. 

I've got a long intro message where I share more so I'll save the text and let you get to know the amazing artists!

About Artist:

Victro aka Flycast is a Bulgarian DJ, studied classical piano since the age of 5, developed an innate desire and passion for music. He goes through all styles, but his heart is captured by electronic music. 
His musical sense is enhanced by the sets of John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Dj Sasha, who have been his idols over the years. Flycast's music gravitates towards creating emotional and cinematic journeys aimed at evoking deep experience and personal reflection. Welcome to "Sunday Morning Groove 003." This series was born from my love and appreciation for deep house and its many fluid forms. It allows me to explore, play, and refine my sound while crafting the perfect cozy vibe for your laid-back Sunday morning. Whether it's the sound of rain on your window or the first sip of your coffee, these smooth, jazzy, sexy tunes will set the mood. 

This mix is sultirer and more driving than previous mixes. I debut an unreleased song that is very close to my heart—'A Time to Shine,' which encapsulates my journey as an artist. It reflects my growth and time stepping into the mantle of the man I’ve always been destined to be.

Originally released in 1998 with Danny Tenaglia, “Music Is The Answer” by Celeda is one of the defining tracks of the late ’90s club scene. In this AfroTech rework, I kept the legendary vocal and built a fresh groove around it, blending hypnotic percussion and Afro House textures — bringing modern energy while honoring the timeless spirit of the classic.

Retired DJ was spinning the progressive house/trance of the mid to late 90s early 2000s aka heavily influenced by Sasha/Digweed. Currently listening to Sound cloud mixes mostly progressive & deep house,  and occasionally lighter melodic techno. I seldom listen to a mix more than once and keep exploring what is new.
