DillanPonders is one of my favourite rappers and has been a real friend to me in the scene over the past few years. He and his team were some of the first people to give me a shot so it only made sense to get Ponders in for this. We talked about cannabis legalization, food, Sean Leon, his upcoming album 'The Boy Who Died,' dreadlocks and more.

I first met the Vancouver rap duo known as So Loki on Twitter back in 2017. After watching their music video for "Liquid Luck," I immediately knew I needed to meet them and work with them. It's been over a year since we first connected and Sam and Geoff have made huge strides - new projects, tours, clothing collaborations and more. It only made sense to get them on the show when they told me they had a couple days off in Toronto.

Toronto rapper and One Umbrella co-founder HOLLYWOODSOS is a new friend to the show but already a favourite. He is one of many siblings that make up the musical family around Tory Lanez (including Wolf and Yoko Gold) and founded the One Umbrella store and movement when it was a prominent feature of Queen West. He's been away for a bit but has now returned and is ready to drop new music.

Boy Pape (formerly known as Brick Grillins) and Hudson Alexander are both good friends of mine and make up a fantastic rapper/producer duo. Their debut collaborative project 'Things I Kept Quiet' has been impressing both fans and critics so I had them sit down to talk about the album, the story of how they met and Pape's experience with Francesco Yates on Justin Timberlake's 'Man of the Woods' tour.
