The Hood” came from a concept I had for a track that was equally cinematic and club ready. I wanted the intro of “The Hood” to put the listener in a police chase scene from a movie - like the intro to ‘Straight Outta Compton’. Beyond that I wanted the song to capture elements of modern G-House and Bass House as well as mid 2000’s Electro - a representation of both the music that populates the scene today and the music that got me into the scene 10 years ago. I’m excited to push boundaries on this release and for the world to hear “The Hood”!
