This remix was part of the 2004 Japan only Soul Source Remixed Boogies CD (http://www.discogs.com/Various-Soul-Source-Remixed-Boogies/release/854086) It is a shorter and much stripped down version that features a lot of unheard original vocals from Sylvester's backing vocalists Martha Wash & Izora Armstead AKA Two Tons Of Fun. The longer, fuller, Maxi Disco Blend version came out initially as a Japanese Red promo 12", then on a "Faux" Fantasy Promo 12" and was finally made more widely available on my In The House Of Love compilation with Defected in 2006

​Busy P returns to his Ed Banger Records imprint with ‘Genie’, a synth laden collaboration with Mayer Hawthorne that’s accompanied by a dancefloor focused remix by London based producer KDA.

By increasing the energy of the original, KDA delivers a peak-time house track that highlights the vocal hook of Mayer Hawthorne while keeping the soulful essence of Busy P’s original alive.

It’s been two years since Busy P released on his label following ‘Gipsy Life’. The return is a prime example of the former Daft Punk manager’s distinct style. The release also comes with a remix by Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and an experimental version by Reckonwrong.

Look for Busy P’s ‘Genie (KDA Remix)’ be released March 31.

The 100th release on Moon harbour is a split between four of the label's most prevalent artists, including Luna City Express, Daniel Stefanik, Dan Drastic & Sven Tasnadi​ but today we premiere Tanzmann's contribution. 

His track 'Mahoney Baloney' is more of the amazing same from the boss man and if you're not hearing it blow up the DC-10 terrace this season then you've clearly gone to Eden by mistake.

Premiere: Matthias Tanzmann 'Mahoney Baloney'

Mörk white finally launches to provide a small suboutlet for more off-Mörk sounds. Exploring rougher edges and surfaces as well as some more minimalistic and stripped back areas and a bit of sly electro.

No Moon opens up the series with 2x12"'s of vintage warmth & fire. Rollocking techno production and Alien vs Predator atmospheres & wails on Space Station kicks things off, rolling into the crunchy piano roller that is Unusual Light Curve - undulating chords & bass washed over pretty much the entire package.

The title track I Left My Dial In Pirovac is a two part epic split across each 12", the first a chippering 303 peppered with rickety drums and ghostly glacial pads. Part 2 is a heavy thundering roller for the deep in the night. Long epic rollouts and slowly evolving textures plus a little dab of acid to spice things up.

Everything Has A Return slays the heart with dusty, emotionally charged synths waving in the wind over blown-to-pieces depth charge kicks and hankering percussion and proto-acidic flecks. 

Lastly, Is It Vibey Is It Yolo rides us out with another hammering epic. Lolloping drum lunges scourge the soft, 80's beach soap opera softness. I swear this is a synth instrumental cover of Don Henley's The Boys of Summer. Someone help me out ye?

Fatboy Slim's latest track, 'Where U Iz' has been given a remix from Eats Everything and the Bristolian is making serious moves of his own, becoming one of the fastest growing names on the circuit.
 
So this is a match made in heaven right? Right. It's an utterly bonkers slab of house music and one that fizzes and flies with its focus on the dancefloor and its tongue firmly in cheek. 

This one is going to get people dancing, but that doesn't surprise us, it's fucking Fatboy Slim and Eats Everything.
