Returning again we welcome this German trio of artists with 'Perihel'.

Like the last edition in ITL039 (twenty releases ago, woah), Cuepric & VRUM build a grand soundscape culminating in a huge tension release on the drop, punctuated with the vocal talents of Melanie Ring. ITL049 is classic ITL flavour.

It's been a blast working with these artists again, and we couldn't be happier with how this release has panned out.

Without giving too much away, you'll see some more of these 3 in the next months, alongside some new faces to the label who we think you'll be familiar with already...

Street lamps blink like tired eyes, metal signs creak in the wind, and from empty windows it feels like something is watching. In this place you don’t run — you try not to make a sound. Avoid Me is a story about encountering what should be avoided. Not people, not beasts — shapes made of smoke and rust, monsters without clear form that gather from shadows the moment you stay too long. They don’t roar, they don’t scream. They simply appear beside you, and the space suddenly feels narrow, like a corridor with no exit.

Every drop is like a sudden emergence from the fog. The sound design slices through space with sharp synthetic blades, while the sub pressure bends the ground beneath your feet. There are no heroes and no salvation here — only a labyrinth of rusted mechanisms and entities assembled from noise, echoes, and electric sparks — cold machinery in the spirit of Paperfunk Recordings.

Avoid Me is not a scream and not a chase.
It is a quiet warning: sometimes the only way to survive is to walk past and never look back.
