Recorded 12 April 2021 in the heart of the Mistral, using a recording of Chris Kallmyer’s “Two hearts are better than one” as the spur to create a duet with an existing cutlery wind chime on the terrace. The baby goats in the background create a quintet.

Following on from the previous Disquiet Junto trackfor Project 0484, on this occasion, Chris Kallmyer’s “Two hearts are better than one” recording of wind chimes were multitracked, reversed, effected and mixed into a surrounding soundscape of bells, real or imagined.

Disquiet 0522 : Just Backdated from January 2022

A contribution to Disquiet Junto 0525 (January 2022). Recorded using a variety of synth modules (various Dreadbox Chromatics and Erica Synths DIY Swamp / BBD delay for the most part) which were then run through a synchronised Boss DSD-3 sampling delay pedal and an old Rozz phaser that seems to have returned from the dead.

For part 2 of 3 of Disquet Junto 0526, Vassilis Poulantzas's
"glitchy thing" (Disquiet 0525 - https://soundcloud.com/vassilis-poulantzas/glitchy-thing-disquiet-0525)was selected using a random number generator from the list of tracks from disquiet 0525. A pre-existing percussion patch using Basimilus Iteritas Alter and O_c Hemispheres' BootsNCat plus some Dreadbox Antiphon spring reverb'd drone was added live in on the hard-panned right channel. Elements were then processed using Unfiltered Audio's Fault and Sandman plugins, plus a little bit of Valhalla Space Modulator.

An extemporised riff on an MFB Dominion Club was added to their excellent groundwork, the results being run through a Space Echo emulation VST just to give it some sparkle, and a little hint of Valhalla Supermassive for some shine too.

A 90 second remix extracted from "The Party's Over," hidden track on the 2009 compilation 50 And Up, released on Barbelo Records. The track compiles compilation tracks into a new megamix, crushing and rendering contributions from Phil Wilson, Giant Paw, The Grand Erector, Ectogram, S/T, Faust, Traummaschine, Ronny Wærnes and, recursively, Drift of Signifieds.

The tracks was rendered to 8,000Hz 8kbps MP3 for maximum reduction in quality, bitcrushed for the CONTACT GROUP LO-BIT THREAD COMPILATION on 24 June 2012.
