Tonight on PLASMA, TSUNIMAN invites friends RBI and ÇINTH for two hours of b2b psychedelia.

Naarm (Melbourne) born, now London-based producer/DJ RBI makes full-throttle, braindance-inspired dnb/jungle and psytrance cuts. Drawing influence from early breakbeat, 90s IDM and UK sound system culture, RBI's idiosyncratic sound has not only seen her play all over her home town in Naarm including the acclaimed Hopkins Creek festival (Naarm), the Forum, Day Break Festival to name a few but also OHM club (Berlin), Nantes, Espace Perpendicular (Madrid), Dalston Superstore (UK) and London’s infamous FOLD . Her debut album Disseminate was released on one of Naarm esteemed dance music label Butter Sessions (Jennifer Loveless, Sleep D) received wide acclaim and was listed as album of the week on PBSfm. RBI’s second release of 2023 with friend and collaborator PANCAKEDOG, CAPITAL EP which draws influences of footwork, deconstructed club and IDM. Dive into RBI immersive sonic universe to experience bass-driven, liquid tek woven in high bpm psychedelia in perfect equilibrium. 

London-based DJ and visual artist CINTH explores the introspective terrains of psychedelic dance music, merging progressive cuts with contemporary offerings from the Scandinavian trance scene. Recognised by local and international labels and venues, including stardust, area127, Technomate and Fold, CINTH is building on their portfolio as a founder of Apex Prey. A new events series and arts platform, currently transmitting from the globally recognised dance floor at Fold, Apex Prey supports the growth of the psychedelic music scene in London and beyond.

This type of set is one I adore playing, but don’t often have the occasion to, neither fully ambient nor for the dancefloor ~~ a fluid liminal zone of flickering rhythms and shimmering tones. A glowing meditation to cleanse and clarify 💠

The Power Play resident and planner delves deep in this hour-long journey, exploring trance, minimal, and progressive techno, masterfully winding things down with a heartbreaking synth melody from The Hacker.
