Here we have the last set for now from this year's Nachtipod series from Olganitz. @moopie, even though it was his first time at this place, understood it immediately. His set at the lake was a pure joy for the dancers - less techno tunnel, more bouncy, less trippy, more looking right and left(field).
He paired vintage prog with dreamy electro that morning and even ventured slightly into italo territories. Well it's all rave and in the end Moopie's greatest talent is knowing exactly what that one track is that people need most right now.

Today's mix comes from an undeniably talented producer and DJ from Naarm, Cybernet.

With a sound that draw elements from 90s and 00s progressive and trance, Michael's productions caught our attention with the release of his track 'Exit Phase' with Willem on Goddezz (UK). Since then, his output has been plentiful, with releases on Meganesia and Abdul Raeva's Gestalt Records. 

We're thrilled to have Cybernet's distinctive sound palette find a home in our mix series via this meandering journey through downtempo, 90s tech house and progressive.

 I came across them a couple of months ago when they did an absolute STOMPING mix for Soulseekers!! Kinda like this one, it was just around my corner. A few weeks went by and Tender wanted to invite Vivienne an their partner Dougong to come play for our Christmas party where they STOLE the show!!! About the mix: Recording from my first gig of the year at Nowadays! This gig was so special in so many levels; I felt a surge of excitement and nervousness coursing through me.

From the perfect booth to the sweaty dance floor and a crowd that is there for the right reasons - make this space so magical. And so it felt in the same way to play for the first time there. Atmosphere was palpable and the hours flew away, they melted in sweatiness, connection and transformation thru music.
