Subsequent to our first stomping release from Tommy Vicari Jnr, we introduce the Drifted Records podcast series Drifted Audio.
 
We’ll be specifically hand picking our favourite selectors from all over the globe who we feel suitably match the labels musical concept and inviting them to blend together a selection of tunes purely for your listening pleasure.
 
Our first invitation was extended to a man who is arguably one of the best all round DJ’s our city has to offer. He is responsible for one half of Othertones and one third of the London based collective, D.E.S [Deep.End.Soundsystem]. These guys have played an integral part in shaping the sound of London in recent years and we are certainly huge fans and supporters here at Drifted. For anybody who has been lucky enough to hear this guy play either as an individual or as part of D.E.S will be familiar with his distinctive, punchy, bass driven blend of House and Techno and therefore will without a doubt be excited for the contents of this mix.

Hushlamb Productions co-founder and Montréal-based underground darling Alicia Hush steps up to the mark of shaping our Volume 2 of the Drifted Audio Electronic Podcast Series, and she has kindly treated us to an exclusive live set. 

Alicia has been churning out an array of spectacular releases, remixes and masterclass live DJ sets for the past six years now with her wobbly, bass driven grooves. Play the intro of any of her tracks and you’re hit with Miss Hush’s clear distinctiveness which makes her style instantly recognisable. With standout music released on labels such as Archipel, Klangscheiben, Park Recordings and her own HushLamb imprint – Alicia’s effortlessly exuberant minimalism certainly catches the ears and hearts of a keen worldwide audience.

Next up we’re shipping in a Dutch hefty House-man and giving him the duty of working the third shift and sculpting Vol.3 of the Drifted Audio Electronic Podcast Series. 

So far in his career, he has had the pleasure of founding his own 'SlapFunk Records' label working from his home town, Utrecht, as well as churning out various releases of his own on labels such as Albion, OFF Recordings and his very own SlapFunk. Samuel’s solo compositions of solid beat-driven House music is promised to get your feet moving, not to mention the 90 minutes’ worth of rudeness he’s placed within this mix.

Okay, so it's been a while since we've given you a dose of music and believe us when we say it is all for good reason. Allow us to introduce our next instalment. 

This one comes from a very close friend of ours and we're really excited to welcome him into the family. He's known for his residency with London based juggernauts Art of Dark, where his Sunday morning after party sets have quickly became the stuff of legends... This man also has one ear firmly pointing towards his production, composing music for his friends and DJs to fill the city's dance floors with. 

Here he delivers just under 2 hours' worth of trippy techno wavers for your listening joy. It is with great pleasure that we are able to bless your ear drums with the sounds of Iain Kemz.

After a bit of a hiatus lately for the label and podcast series, we are back with some more music. 

This time round we welcome our friend Marc Milner to take the reigns of Vol.005 for the Drifted Audio series. Playing a firm part in the Parisian dance music scene as part of the ultra sleek Pluie/Noir label, Marc has since been able to expand his recognisably bouncy French mustard around the globe, including regular stand out sets at Concrete, Rex Club and ARMA17 in Russia.

Denmark's very own musical guru Martinez takes control of Vol.006 of the Drifted Audio Electronic Podcast Series. After nearly 2 decades of stand out releases on labels such as Minibar, Concealed Records, Moon Harbour and notorious Chicago based label Guidance Recordings. It's safe to say this man has well and truly crafted his eclectic sound across the globe.

It is with great pleasure to welcome this house and techno head to the Drifted Audio series, following his much anticipated feature on the Drifted Mid-Flow Series 'Various Artist' LP.

Scattered with crisp, sharp snare drums, mood lifting Sax chords and organ rupturing sub-bass lines, one must question after listening to a piece of work from our next guest if there is anyone who does it better. 

With unmistakable releases on his own DPR Recordings dating back 20+ years this producer’s sounds helped build the very foundations of 2step and garage, heavily influencing prominent producers following his lead and paving the way for the creation of two brand new underground musical genre’s, Grime and Dubstep. 

It’s clear by looking at the history of this man that it was only a matter of time before people started to notice his music. He honed his skills working in various record stores in his earlier years getting used to receiving direct feedback from collectors and listeners, something that has proven invaluable when considering the widespread impact his creations have had. 

Here we have something a little different from previous selections, a special blend of Jungle and Drum & Bass designed for immediate screw face, head shake impact. It gives Drifted Records an incredible amount of pleasure in introducing none other than Steven Jude to the series. AKA Noodles. More commonly known as the legendary Groove Chronicles...

Fresh off the mark to the Drifted Audio electronic podcast series for 2020, we welcome on-board a long term friend of ours here at Drifted, that we've had the pleasure of seeing grow from a young party goer, to a regular name across the London circuit in recent months. 

Residing with the garage originated Company crew, but showcasing his eclectic and obscure house and techno sound across the City at venues such as Printworks, Magazine, and the beloved 93 Feet East. We're very proud to see the hard work that's been put in, and the deserved results have been well noticed.

We've hit a milestone! Here's the 10th edition to the Drifted Audio podcast series, and we're extremely excited to welcome a true legend of an artist to the label. This is an exclusive recording from a Live set from 2003 performed at the much missed and notorious London nightclub, The End.

Our next guest has been on our radar for quite some time, and we are honoured to have this delivery of over an hour's worth of that 90's/early 2000's tech house, bass and grooves that we love, ahead of his solo EP due on Drifted later this year.
