"City of Loneliness" – a sonic journey blending psychedelic rock-pop with dream-pop textures and introspective indie rock. This track paints a melancholic urban landscape, where memories of lost or yet-to-be-found love drift through rain-soaked streets.

The atmosphere builds on deep, pulsing bass and floating synth pads, creating a hypnotic, dreamy feel. The sound is enriched by a psychedelic, fuzzy guitar with reverb and delay, weaving melodic, gliding riffs that draw listeners into a subconscious realm. The track is an invitation to explore themes of time and memory.

Drinker is the bicoastal recording project of singer-songwriter Aaron Mendelsohn and producer-composer Ariel Loh. The two met in Brooklyn in 2016, brought together by their shared love of artists such as Bon Iver, Fever Ray and James Blake. Out of that initial collaboration came 2017’s sublime debut Happy Accident EP.It was around that time that Aaron moved to LA. In spite of the huge physical distance it created between them, the duo continued to explore and develop exciting new material. Two years of cross-country collaboration produced the band's 2019 debut full-length album Fragments. Lead single “Fragment II” reached #1 on HypeMachine and the singles that followed received support from KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” and BBC1’s Radio Xtra. Less than a year later, Drinker return with the They Don't Want To Know EP, out early summer 2020 via B3SCI Records.
