We've been fans of @hood-joplin for a while now. She's been reppin the Juke/Footwork/160 sound in Canada for a while with the Kudatah crew playing shows with DJ Taye (Teklife), Flying Lotus, Robert Hood or Chippy Nonstop to name a few. She is also a RBMA Bass Camp alumni & finalist of Serato's Sample Challenge.

When we asked her to do a track for our Street Bangers Factory series last year, she teamed up with another incredibly talented producer named @textchunk to deliver "Stranger", one of our favorite tracks we released in 2018 described by the Ransom Note as "an elegiac 160bpm banger that sounds just like the light at the end of the tunnel".

Complex: "riotous footwork track that became the unofficial anthem of this year's Dekmantel Festival when it became a favourite of many of the DJs on the line-up"
