RWB - Altered Vision (Feat. Purple Velvet Curtains)

Never Enough features a level of intricate musicality, provided by multi-instrumentalist Hans Glader, that hasn't previously been heard in the EP so far and sets the tone for experimenting in a newfound world of Freedom. With references to the first and second EPs in the trilogy, Compliance and Rebellion, the track can be divided into 3 equal parts. The first third creates an overall hellish landscape, reminiscent of Compliance, a world where you're bound to other people's ideas and desires. Not long after, you're swiftly transported away into a rebellious breakdown, ascending from the chokehold the first third has a listener in. A euphoric synth solo and Hans' recorded analog drums pulls you out and throws you into the final third, a floating feeling that represents a new world of freedom and escape, and leaves you with a feeling of transcendence and levitation.

Rounding off the album, we revisit the second track 'Free Together' with Katie Bosworth, except this time, there is a shift in focus from lush vocals and an ambient soundscape, and instead you're propelled into the darker, club-orientated Variation In Production version. This sets the tone for what Drinks On Me wishes to build upon in 2024. The cyclical nature of the album, which closes off as it begins, is representative of the tying-of-ends that Freedom provides to the album trilogy. A fresh start awaits Drinks in 2024.

Following on from his original debut with Southpoint and his 'Ladbroke Grove' bootleg last year, it's our absolute pleasure to welcome back the explosive sounds of DJ Jackum to the roster, with a vibrant new single entitled 'Noise Inside' that is sure to turn a few heads.

Being somewhat of a pioneer within his brand and sound, Jackum has continuously pushed the boundaries of where garage can go, with 'Noise Inside' boasting a sizzling bassline theme that is going to cause some serious dancefloor damage, combining the different sides of DJ Jackum's character into a rave-ready weapon.
