It arched its spine, balancing precariously on two feet yet continuing to remain graceful throughout.

The night was young but the beast would stalk the land until the return of the sunlight in the morning. Its presence was enough to cause a shiver – those who had met it would not forget.

The clouds hung thick overhead, ominously so.

Together, they shape a dreamlike exploration of connection, memory, and dissolution—where echoes of the past merge with the pulse of an uncertain future. Anna Makay (MA’AM) and Juhász Tamás further unravel these visions, distorting them into new sonic dimensions.

Their latest V/A enlists eight world-class producers for a jet-lagged journey through modular mischief and transcontinental club psychedelia. It's less a compilation, more a clandestine meeting of audio agents plotting a reroute of global frequencies...For our premiere, we shine a light on Globemaster’s 'Irritilas' – a slow-motion chugger that feels like it’s been smuggled out of some sacred dance ceremony deep in the Sierra Madre. Built at a slo mo 110 BPM pace, it slinks through your psyche with rubbery bass, ritualistic percussion and arpeggios that glisten like morning dew on obsidian. The breakdown hits like hallucinatory visions, conjuring forgotten myths and almost-extinct cultures via a sequencer of infectious arpeggios.

Colombian imprint Furatena return with 'AX-V1', a razor-sharp various artists dispatch aimed straight at the post-industrial underbelly of the club...Our pick lands on /DL/MS/’s ‘Regressive Behaviour’, a piece of sonic brinkmanship clocking in at a neurotic 146 BPM. The track kicks off like an alarm from another planet, a strobe-lit march of arpeggiated distress signals and saturated low-end mechanics.
