"the inspiration for this mix came from a special afterparty where i DJ’d after a rave i had co-organized in montreal last october. i had spent most of the night dealing with the cops and got a fine for noise. once at the afterparty, i got to channel my frustration into music; i played dub techno for hours. to me, the airy but deep grooves of that music provide space for both introspection and release. hope you feel it too."

This is a long time coming. Thanks to all my friends and the people who make The Lodge happen every single year. It is without a doubt one of the most impactful musical events of my life... every single year. This mix was inspired by a desire to "emotionally pre-game" the dancing. There's some longing, some excitement, some statements of purpose, and ultimately like every performance at the lodge it's an ode to my love for that place, those people, and the time outside of time.
