'Riigs & Skenna’s new EP takes them into the darker world of atmospheric dub - a sound they love and close to the heartbeat of the label. 

The title track 'Luna Dub' is built around an evolving analog bass sound, which came straight from the artists’ hardware synths.  Soft pads and an urgent arp bring the energy of the track as it opens up.  Play this one in the dark!

'White Summer' is a more ambient, atmospheric tune with lush pads, haunting vocals and a distant, repeating piano line.  One for the end of a set or a sunrise. 

'Moral Hazard' closes the EP with an acid-tinged but chilled dub tune built around a lead line supported by dreamy chords and glitchy percussion.  

This is an EP for late nights in filled rooms or lying under the stars dreaming. '

Premiere: Riigs, Skenna - Luna Dub [Londam]

Last weekend, Aradya and Perenne took to the decks to deliver an unforgettable DJ set on the helipad of the Omega Tower in Mexico City. The selection was carefully curated and incredibly special, featuring a range of genres including deep house with drums, melodic techno, and breakbeats.

The set was characterized by powerful basslines, extended breakbeats, dark pads, and energetic drums that kept the crowd moving from start to finish. Aradya and Perenne also played some tracks from their very talented friends, including Guzy, Jonas Saalbach, and Hunter Game.

The stunning panoramic views of the city skyline and the vibrant energy of the crowd provided the perfect backdrop for the music. The atmosphere was electric, and the energy was palpable as Aradya and Perenne seamlessly mixed track after track, building up the energy throughout the set.

The set was truly a masterpiece of sound and an experience that will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to be there. From the carefully selected tracks to the dynamic mixing, Aradya and Perenne delivered an exceptional performance that showcased their immense talent and passion for music.

Narrative music invites the listener to envision a scene in their head, and up next on Roy Davis Jr.’s Undaground Therapy Muzik imprint is an EP that does just that. The German duo Turquoise Colored French Tourists are releasing their debut EP on the label this spring with their dance floor ready five tracker Monaco EP.

The Monaco EP is funky house at its best, offering five tracks of unadulterated groove with the duo’s signature synth flair flowing throughout. The title track sets the precedent as here you are invited to join the duo as they cruise the streets on a balmy, summer’s evening. Cheap House continues to loosen things up with its straight up funky bassline. So In Love layers a soulful vocal over cheeky guitar licks and cosmic squiggles, the night is well and truly underway. Named accordingly, Late Night is up next and takes the listener into the sleazier depths of the night, with its disco tinged groove. As the night draws to a close, gleaming synths are layered over a rolling, verging on hypnotic rhythm as Last Call brings the musically rich EP to a finish.

Premiere: Turquoise Colored French Tourists - Cheap House [Undaground Therapy Muzik]

The People’s Dance Collective is a producer/DJ that calls St Kilda, Australia home. 

After a history of organising renegade parties, like the illegal festival "Beach Weekender" and vinyl only nights, The PDC spent the summer of 2022/2023 DJing at Melbourne's floating oasis nightclub, ATET, brainchild of Jake Hughes. It was the perfect opportunity to road test his growing repertoire of PDC productions. Over the summer he supported some pretty big names including DJ Tennis, John Course, Donald's House and Boogs. 

The PDC also runs the mix series Deep House Melbourne, and has recently released an italo number on The Journey's label "Ugenius". 

The PDC is inspired by the euphoria of trance, the rugged nature of electro, and the deep emotional vibes of house. His sets are energetic journeys into forgotten gems and future classics. He inhabits a space where throwback deep house bombs sit comfortably with melodic, organic and afro house. 

An avid wax enthusiast, The PDC sees vinyl records as the heritage of the spirit of house music, to be rediscovered and shared at intimate and dusty parties. The process of stumbling on a sound outside the algorithm driven space of the world wide cyber cloud keeps the glowing embers of countless bygone underground scenes alive.
