'The Inspiration'  reformed after 35yrs apart to record a charity single 'Golden Sun'  for Brain Tumour Support after the lead singer Marc's brother Garry was diagnosed with a stage four brain tumour.  Sadly Garry has since, recently passed away.  Creatively motivated by Marc's tragic loss  'The Inspiration'   went back into the studio In March 2019 and recorded their  4 track EP titled  'Silent Nightmare'

Golden Sun was released in November 2018 as a charity single to raise money for the Brain Tumour Support after 'The Inspiration's'  lead singer Marc Brandrick's brother Garry was diagnosed with stage four brain tumour.  Sadly Garry has since passed away.   Peter Gabriel's Real World Studio kindly remixed the song which was re-released 0n the 15th March 2019.   All proceeds from the sale of the single going to Brain Tumour Support Charity.
