Drivencast

We kick things back off on our mix series, Drivencast with one of our long standing residents, Ross Stone. Ross delves into his record box for this 60 minute vinyl mix, showing us why he is a firm, local favourite and held a residency with us for over 5 years. Ross has supported some of the biggest names in the game such as Nick Curly, Mele, Josh Butler, East End Dubs, and many more. This mix summarises what Ross is all about, a true selector.

Lee Clarke has been known to have a unique style which ranges from deep house to techno, this comes from his many influences over the years. His main accolade being the owner and founder of the event brand, record label and radio show, Tahanan, with a strict policy of, 'Good People, Great Music'. This slogan epitomises Lee as an artist and is what has seen him gain huge respect within the industry.

Upcoming DJ Kayleigh Maria supplies the sounds for Drivencast 14 with an eclectic section of Minimal, Deep Tech, House and everything in between. Hailing from Northampton, Kayleigh has been making serious movements within the local scene playing for a number of big parties across the Midlands. We were buzzing to get her on the mix series and expect big things in the next year from this serious selector.

On Demand front man, DJ & Producer CRIBB, provides the grooves for Drivencast 015. This guys energy is real, and you can feel that in his mixes, productions and events. The upcoming artists hailing from Milton Keynes has been smashing the local scene, as well as bookings up and down the country. Not to mention being signed to some notable labels. CRIBB is one to watch in 2024, so it was only right for us to get him on the mix series.

Staying local to our hometown of Milton Keynes we introduce, Charlie Patrick. The main man behind the Beyond Beats events. Charlie is still so early on in his musical career but has an impressive DJ resume having supported some big names of the House music scene. He recently played our first event back to kick off our 10 year anniversary celebrations and blew the roof off, so we had to ask him to record a set for the series.

We kick off our new mix series, DRIVENCAST with our resident the Techno viking, Ian Redman. Ian is known for his upfront, melodic Techno productions & DJ sets. This mix to start the series, does not disappoint.

Our second instalment comes from our newest resident, Ensall. With a number of solid releases under his belt and a whole host of big things to come, Ensall brings the deep, funky and groovey vibe that we know and love him for.

Drivencast 003 comes courtesy of DJ/Producer, Ben Bux. Ben has been making noise in the scene with his cross genre DJ sets and his funky & disco driven house music style productions. Receiving plays from the likes of Patrick Topping and regular premiers on BBC introducing. Anchored with a few strong releases already we expect big things from Mr Bux in the future and are buzzing to have him on our mix series.

Andreas Christou supplies the goods for Drivencast 004. We've been following the Luton based, upcoming DJ/Producer for some time now. He already has some solid signings under his belt and lockdown seems to of been great for Andreas as he continues to push his productions with a busy release schedule ahead of him. His mix gives us a flavour of some groovy, deep tech numbers accompanied by his own material - a big mix!

Danny Snowden takes control of our next episode, 005.  Danny's a DJ & producer hailing from Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire who has different shades of sound in his artillery. He has released on the ever popular Deep Tech, House label Whoyostro as well as Techno Label Eclipse Recordings with more music in the pipeline to be released. It’s fair to say Danny’s sound does vary but in this mix expect some groovy House numbers with a classic vintage and deep house tone alongside some of his own material!

Billingy has begun to establish himself as one of the most explosive local up-and-coming artists out of 2020 with releases on Roush and ODTech Selects already under his belt. A product of House, Hip-Hop, UK Urban and everything in between, you can expect to hear influences from each of these aspects within this mix and his productions too. Selector of rhythms and creator of funky, low end influenced grooves, Billingy has the tools to bring the vibes on Drivencast 007.

Where North meets South - UK based DJ/ Production duo James Callaghan & Jason Hodges known collectively as Lost On Mars supply the goods for Drivencast 008. When you combine the energy these two have along with their talent behind the decks expect nothing less than a riot on the dance floor. The fast rising pair launched their Abducted events in 2019 and are continually growing as they move through 2020. On the production side of things you can expect a wide variety of music from these two taking elements from tech house, deep tech, acid, breakbeat, drum n bass & techno. They have some forthcoming releases on some of the hottest labels in the industry, it's safe to say the Lost On Mars launch Is well underway.

Ryussi takes us on a journey through electronic dance music on Drivencast 009. The Luton based DJ/Producer has been receiving lots of attention from the likes of BBC introducing with her statement sound, that fuses House, Techno and electronica all in one, and this podcast follows suite with a mix that would be fitting for any time of the night. Incorporating a wide range of underground music along with some of her original material and forthcoming release, on Out of Nowhere Records later this year.

London based Producer/DJ Liam Harper, takes to the stage for our tenth installment of the Drivencast. An artist that we have been following for a while, with his unique sound that fuses stripped back UKG with Minimal, Deep Tech House music to give an end product of vibes a plenty. A selecter that learned his craft as a resident for the London based event brand, Origin Six. Liam has an ever increasing back catalougue of releases on some well establish labels such as, BEEYOU, Music Related, Subtle & Radar. With plenty more in the pipeline for the new year. We are buzzing to kick off 2021 with this mix from a very talented up & coming artist.

Timmy P is a House music artist, hailing from Oxfordshire. A lover of the dustier and grittier end of the groove spectrum, drawing influence from classic Chicago and Detroit House. Timmy is an artist about to blow - with some amazing accolades already under his belt, such as playing Glastonbury. With consistent support from Radio 1 DJs for his music and  the likes of Marco Carola and Loco Dice. We are buzzing to be able to secure Timmy to supply 011 of the Drivencast. 90+ minutes of pure House music!

Driven is an underground House music collective from Milton Keynes.

Originated as a free day party in the back of a local pub garden, to now being Milton Keynes' longest standing House music event, booking international headline artists & DJ’s. A monthly mix series showcasing the best upcoming artists from around the world. Plus the final piece of the puzzle to come by launching as a record label, with the first release imminent.
