Crypto Noir (Piano Prelude)

This song was inspired by the wonder of humanity and nature- hence the string arrangements, piano, and sprinkles of horns and bells.  I wanted to keep it "organic" but with operatic complexity.

The song was recorded using a very basic home studio.  I used one take and one track for the piano; then dubbed several string arrangements and vocals.  Unlike most of my songs there is no guitars or drums in this song.  Copyright 2012.

A song with the main theme about counting the long cold Chicago wintery monotonous days before spring.

This song was recorded in very basic, very modest, home studio.  All guitar parts were created using amplitube.  No "real" guitar amps were used this time.  Copyright 2012.
