Dear fellow slow driverz, i'm happy to presen the next episode mixed by true nature from Berlin. This mix aims for picking us up and taking us to a place beyond mind - in other words: usual music's business. 💛
Last year due to following the white rabbit or something like that, true nature started to head dive into DJing and the extra universe that magical sounds create. Since then, a deep feeling of gratitude is rising within as music feels like a guidance back to who we truly are.

"Under a highway bridge in Ulm I discovered something magical in 2020, if I play tracks I love in a right way, listen to you, watch the glow around your eyes… we can create something. I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember but it was only at my first rave that I realized what we can do if i work hard at my new exciting craft. After a little while Berlin has become my new home. Within it’s walls soon darker, powerful downtempo called me into it. Now, I dig and find them, the groovy melodies, fatter basslines, enchanting rhythms and flowing beats, for you, for us…. To move to create, to bask in our own and the glitter of that midnight sunshine."

i'm quite happy to welcome you back after a long summer-break, with a fantastic set mixed by Malü at 'Bass & Gebummel' an event near Mannheim, Germany.
It's not exactly super slow, but for sure really driving - i hope you'll enjoy it as much as i do.

Malü is a super-talented up-and-coming downtempo producer & dj and also performs live with his friend and percussionist in crime Kalypsoul. If you ever get the chance to see them live, check it out! If not, don't worry - you'll propably hear them online, as they started to release their music on various labels.

I was invited to play at Renate for the easter party organized by Rebellion der Traumer and I had such a great night.
I have been to Rebellion’s event for a long time. For the quality of their music curation but also for the great vibe and crowd that their event always have. Sharing music there was a real gift. 

With my dear Crépite. crew, we took over the red floor for the whole night and it was a big honour to present our music to one of the best crowd in town.  

The music in this set is a bit faster to what I have been playing recently. It explores different sides of the musical spectrum, and a variety of subgenres and BPM, aiming at creating some surprises in my sound in an event where the rest of line up is pretty close to my usual style. I even went for a small minimal techno 20min-interlude in the middle of the set.. <3 

I am super glad to be able to share with you a memory of that night and I hope you will enjoy this set.

Heute wird's wieder so richtig fein!

Von Anfang an, bimmelt das Ding schön im Oberstübchen. Da is es kein Wunder, dass in unseren Hirnwindungen ein derartiger vor-spul-zurück-Prozess ausgelöst wird, der in einer kompletten dizzyness endet. 

Völlig out of control, baumelt der auditive Cortex glücklich hin und her. Mit einem riesen Smiley im Gesicht, schielen wir in Richtung Kommandozentrale und freuen uns megamäßig über unsre supercoole Hermine Adi Baba, die uns völlig wegbeamt.

Ein Samstag im Theater - 4 Years of Mystic Creatures

Sauna Floor - Zugvøgel Festival 2023

Ich bin so lange herumgestolpert mit Versuchen des Festhaltens. Ich saß verunsichert und doch so wohlig befreit im Fuchs. Abends haben wir zu Dritt jegliche Teigformen gekocht, Nachts getrunken und bis morgens an verschiedensten Orten zu Zweit in tiefen Sesseln verhockt. Verspielt hat dauernd das Zwerchfell gepocht und unsere Worte in voller Ehrlichkeit meinen Kehlkopf zum Kratzen vermocht.
Losgeeist sind wir aufgebrochen zu Kiefern und Dünen. Sind in Dunkelheit bei Minusgraden in die Wellen gesprungen und haben mit gefühlstauben Gliedern und bebilderten Karten in der Sonne nach Wärme gerungen. Gegessen und gesurft, der Ruhe, dem Meer, dem Wind und so schöner Musik gelauscht, Croissants zum Frühstück und Bier in Weinflaschen zum Sonnenuntergang.
 Bei rotem Vinho Verde habe ich bei dir begonnen mit vertrippten Lauten zu spielen und so viele musikalische Welten entdeckt, die mich nun zu allen Zeiten begleiten. Wir waren füreinander da als Verbindungen zerbrochen sind - haben mit trockensten Worten unsere Tränen verfliegen lassen. 
Wir sind nicht hinterhergekommen zu verarbeiten, was den Sommer über passierte, sind zusammen gerannt und haben uns ausgebrannt.
Du hast mir deine Welt der Dinosaurier gezeigt, wo deine Erinnerungen für mich greifbar waren und ich so viel Ruhe wie noch nirgendwo anders fand.
Unsere Winterstunden haben wir oft suchend verbracht, nach Platten, nach Wein, nach Liebe und Schmerz und doch hatten wir einige Stunden, in denen wir in aller Erleichterung konnten zusammensein, verdrängen und ab und an ein wenig weinen.  
Wir stehen nun richtig hier, bei heißen Dämpfen im Schlamm, zu Klängen inspiriert von musikalischen und emotionalen Reisen seit alles begann. 
Unverändert erfüllst du so meine Stunden noch immer konstant. 
Deswegen laufe ich mit dir im festesten Gang.


Ganz ganz dollen Dank an @daniel-gaziano & @whatmomoplays & all den Beteiligten für diesen wunderschönen besonderen Ort. Ich habe so viel Wertschätzung, dass Ihr einen derartigen Raum für einzigartige Musik geschaffen habt, wo Mensch Verspieltheit, Ruhe und Entspannung finden konnte.
