So heres the first track, it was good fun to record and play around with different tones. I decided to settle with a kind of "Dirty/Gritty" sound which I think works well.

I am a massive VH fan (EVH is my idol), i love the happy yet punchy vibe they get in their songs and this for me was my interpretation of an 80's hair metal type of track.

This one is a bit grittier, I do love a bit of metal!. I think my favourite part of this track is the breakdown, I had a lot of fun using dissonance to create the strange sounds!.

Superposition

This track has a more "happy" vibe. A combination of fuzz/distorted melodic guitars working together to make big choruses and an occasional organ thrown into the mix.

Crashing Down

This one is again, a bit different. Much like its title, the track starts in one state and then at the end changes into a different one. I had a lot of fun tinkering with the tone for my guitar(s) toward the end of this one.

Abiogenesis

Latest track, its a bit of a mix up of styles all in one place. Going from a funk esque riff, into the half speed chorus line and a crescendo at the end. Agin, i have had good fun toying with the guitar tones at the end. I wanted an ambient tone for one and a very thin sound for the other, allowing them to fit together and fill each others gaps.

I think this has taken over the top spot and is now my favourite track. Using multiple recordings and layering them allowed me to create a really ambient sound (I think), a kind of euphoric tone toward the end.
