The amazing L 33 returns for Addictive Behaviour, with his latest release, Melt/Let Loose. His signature sweeping, crushing sound is here in full and total effect, and he once again fits in perfectly with the label, always forward thinking, always cutting edge. His experiences with Addictive Behaviour and other labels, including Program, Eatbrain and Rise Audio means that he’s now upped his game, and is fast rising through the underground.

Melt is a slowly building masterpiece, where electronic themes are established early. An interesting spoken sample bleeds into the main section, were haunting flutes are inserted over the top of some rich pads and ticking drum effects. The bassline is not forgotten, and once an energetic break comes along, the low end rises up in the mix, making the total package something totally unique and absurdly addictive. L 33 really can do it all, producing a track the like of which you’ve definitely not heard yet.

The journey through the realm of sound and rhythm has been nothing short of an extraordinary symphony for the enigmatic DJ known as D.R.K

As the sun dips below the horizon, a transformation occurs. D.R.K emerges, a musical alter ego channeling boundless creativity and energy. For over a decade, D.R.K has seamlessly been melding sonic elements into captivating tapestries that invite the audience on a transformative journey.

Beyond the name lies a remarkable individual named Dylan, whose life story is intertwined with the beats that have stirred souls and moved feet. This autobiography chronicles the evolution of a humble aspirant into the seasoned and acclaimed DJ, D.R.K, whose stage presence alongside music legends has shaped the sonic landscape.

From the early days of Dylan's life, a deep-rooted passion for music took hold. The soothing embrace of melodies and rhythms became a sanctuary, nurturing the seed of a future calling. The spark was ignited, and the odyssey began.

D.R.K's ascent through the ranks brought forth remarkable opportunities. The stage became a canvas, and alongside luminaries like Original Sin, Levela, The Prototypes, Dominator, Maduk, Black Sun Empire & Ed Rush, D.R.K's presence was felt. Each performance was an exploration, each set a narrative, and each interaction with the audience a shared heartbeat.


The battlefield of DJing witnessed D.R.K's prowess shine. Triumph in competitions such as the Eatbrain DJ contest in 2016 marked a turning point, propelling the artist towards greater recognition. Returning as a finalist in 2023 underscored the unwavering dedication to craft and the relentless pursuit of excellence.


Within the collective known as KABELBREUK EVENTS, D.R.K found kindred spirits united by a common mission – to propagate the spirit of dnb in uncharted territories. Through this alliance, sonic warriors emerged, and together, they redefined the boundaries of what music could achieve.


Beyond geographical confines, D.R.K and the KABELBREUK movement extended their reach. From subterranean gatherings to unconventional locales, the pulse of dnb permeated, leaving an everlasting imprint. The legacy etched isn't just musical, it's a testament to the power of rhythm to bind humanity.
