Revelation of Sound is pleased to present CTAFAD. Electronic musician and guitarist, Sun Dawei is a very active composer in China. He started learning guitar at the age of fourteen, and later formed a punk band, which became the catalyst for him to open the door to music. Settled in Beijing in 1999, then began research and creation of electronic music, and at the same time began to dabble in Fashion Show, film, drama and commercial soundtrack work. After several transformations, in order to explore different music spaces.
He announced a new musician project - CTAFAD. In 2020, "Vertical Horizontal" was published on "Shanshui Music". In this album, you can hear "the original sound without too much modification, the sense of space like the atmosphere, and the ambitious ultrasonic experiment. In the end, an epic The core sound field has been carefully polished. The rhythm and bass line are proficient in interaction from the beginning, gradually unfolding and never extinguishing." In the subsequent release of "Vertical Horizontal Extended" and other EP albums, CTAFAD invited Claudio PRC, Blazej Malinowski, Atomic Moog, Polygonia, Laertes and IORI participated in the remix of the album.

A new music-making journey is driven by inner passion and exploration, collaboration anddevelopment. Slowly began to emerge in many foreign Techno labels. Such as: Sungate, Indefinite Pitch, Oslated, Intersum, Black Chrysalis Archives and KitchenSync. At the same time, he also created a new music label "GSXS" - mind in thought, full vision.

In this particular playlist we are presenting different shapes of Dub Techno. Therefore we reached out to our friends and Guest DJs to record and create a set for you.

Artist Bio:
Emesh led by Antonio Muñoz is a master in creative music production across electronic, ambient, slow trance, idm and dub. He comes from the beautiful region of La Alcarria in Spain. Since 2013 on Sendero Records, he has been delivering a quite diverse range of sound to the listener, sometimes danceable, sometimes calming, more metallic, more organic, and always inspiring. Antonio is both, a musician and therapist. His musical influences owe much to the pop and electronics of the 80s when he started working as resident Dj at Deadly club in Brihuega (Guadalajara-Spain) about 9 years. From there he went to Madrid to do Dj sets with his aka Dujay in various popular nightspots of the capital like the Circulo de Bellas Artes, Mondo and Maxime between others, in addition in the early 2000s he is the founder of the underground parties Darkbeat, programming deep trance and progressive house, pioneers in the city. Working with these sounds allowed him to warm up James Holden the first time he visited Spain in 2003. Evolving his skills, he delved into music production, mastering various instruments and exploring sound therapy rooted in shamanic practices. Antonio gives regular sound therapy sessions and journeys using his Tibetan Singing Bowls, Shamanic Drum and other ancient instruments. His talent has been recognized on a global stage, with his track featured at the London Music Conference in 2020 playing a set at fabric@london. This global recognition is a testament to his skill and creativity. Currently, he's immersed in his studio, Elul, recently completing an indie electronic EP with Miss Zagato, and recent releases on Initiate Rec., Piranha Siberia Dub, Blue Lotus and Something Spæcial label. Biography: 
Electronic musician, producer and remixer from the south of Russia, from the city of Krasnodar. "I have come a long way before realizing that my music can be interesting not only to me, but also to others. During this time, naturally, views on the creative process and sound creation have changed, as has the industry itself. At the moment, I create experimental underground sound under the creative pseudonym Hopler Route. Collaborated with the labels Crossfade Sounds, ECOUL SND, Slope Point, Superordinate Dub Waves, Secret Domain, Echoshapes, hello▼strange, Proton Radio, [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Techenie, Liberty Rhythm, Seesaw Records. The music closely intersects with many musical directions, the main ones are Dub Techno, Ambient, Deep Techno and in some compositions it even smoothly flows into Deep Tech\Minimal. From time to time, I record DJ sets and mixes to share with listeners my interesting discoveries in the world of electronic music. And this time, at the invitation of friends from Novosibirsk, I could not refuse, and recorded cool mix! Enjoy listening to everyone!

Franck Hat

L’histoire musicale de Franck a commencé en 1990 et c’est une révélation.
Il goûte à la deep house, à la house tech, à la techno. Puis arrive la trance progressive.
Nous sommes dans les années 2000 et il se décide à créer ses morceaux, puis rencontre son Ami Lox D, c'est le début d'une collaboration ou s'enchaine les sorties sur Beatport.
Depuis il essaye de faire danser les souliers de ceux qu'il croise en soirée,
entre puissance et finesse envoutante pétris de toutes ses influences,
techno mélodique et techno ravageuse.

Franck's musical story began in 1990 and it is a revelation.
He tastes deep house, tech house, techno. Then comes progressive trance.
We are in the 2000s and he decides to create his songs, then meets his friend Lox D, it is the start of a collaboration where a series of releases on Beatport follow.
Since then he has tried to make the shoes of those he meets in the evening dance,
between power and captivating finesse steeped in all its influences,
melodic techno and devastating techno.

We Are One Podcast Dub Series #14  - Liuos

Recorded on a bright Saturday afternoon at Silence Please, the beautiful hi-fi speaker showroom and listening space in SoHo New York City. This set drifts through ambient dub techno and downtempo grooves. Icy textures, hazy tape hiss, and deep cuts from my own catalog blended with selections from labels MixCult and Spclnch (Space Lunch). As the room filled with people, foggy grooves and stillness in motion slowly gave way to more uptempo dub techno, carrying the energy of the afternoon forward.
