Most Christians do not have any problem with the fact that prayer is an essential part of a believer’s life; yet, most Christian’s people do not really understand the biblical concept of prayer.  It is not uncommon to find a child of God that is wondering whether or not God will answer his prayer
This is so unfortunate because prayer is not designed to make it difficult for the believer to reach God.  Rather, prayer is God’s plan of establishing communication with His most precious creation.  God wants all His children to always leave a place of prayer with an assurance that God has heard him or her.

(Mark 11:23 NKJV) for assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to the mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea,’ does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
On a daily basis, we deal with issues of life that require the intervention of God.  So many times, we allow ourselves to get over overwhelmed by the pressure that comes with these situations.  It is so good to know that God has provided a way of escape for all His children where life issues are concerned.

LET GOD USE YOU

(Isaiah 59:16 NKJV) He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore, His own arm brought salvation for Him; and His own righteousness, it sustained Him.
How many times have you heard Christians people crying out to God in prayer with this expression – Lord, use me for your glory?
This is indeed a great prayer that every committed child of God should pray.  The sad thing is the fact most people walk away from their prayer time still wondering how God will use them.

God gave man the ability and the right to exercise his will on earth.  He made man in His image and likeness, expecting him to put his planet, earth, under subjection by making the right decisions.  The first man failed God’s test.  In spite of the fact that Adam was given the right to choose, God’s will, you gain in life; but if you disobey His instruction, you will definitely walk in the path of death and destruction.

(1 Corithians 14:2 NKJV) for he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit, he speaks mysteries.
The devil is always fighting the revelation of praying in.  He knows that when a believer receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, he becomes empowered for great victories.  There are plans and purposes of God that human minds cannot comprehend.

(Matthew 18:19 NKJV) Again I say to you if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
The devil will fight unity in the body of Christ on any level.  He has an idea of the kind of results we will obtain if we, the children of God are united.  The division is a major weapon of the devil to keep believers away from being in agreement

(Acts 4:31 NKJV) And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
The response of a natural man to pressure and persecution is discouragement.  In fact, the devil wants you to just quit and cave in.  This generation is actually known for the weakness of being so quick to quit.
There are forces of the enemy that operate in the realm of the spirit that is assigned to frustrate us and force us to let go of our victories when we are under pressure.

The Life Chronicles of Dr. Lori J. McKenney

Dr. Lori J. McKenney is a Native of Hampton, Va. On March 10, 1962 the Angels sound there trumpets as Lori McKenney celebrated her birth into the world. She is the daughter of John Randolph Jr. and Carrie Randolph. She is also the Mother of three beautiful children LaKeithea Smith, Sabrina Smith, Elder Keith Smith Jr. and the wife of Deacon Paul McKenney who she loves and serves greatly.

In 1980 Lori McKenney graduated from Phoebus High School, and decided to farther her education at Commonwealth Community College as she received her Associate’s Degree in Accounting. She also received her Doctor of Divinity from Southeastern Bible Institute on August 17, 2014. In 1986 the Lord called Dr. Lori to the ministry as she served at Antioch Baptist Church as a Deaconess than was used by God to flow as a powerful Minister. Many years had passed as she stayed humble before the Lord and intensified her prayer life. God continued to honor her prayers as she was being called to the Hospitals to pray for the sick, Jail ministry, and Nursing homes. It was there that God began to use her tremendously as the Lord spoke to her about being promoted to a higher calling. She was than elevated to Revered and served faithfully on the board as the “wildest preacher”.

After Dr. McKenney was elevated by God as Revered she decided to study to show herself approve by attending Boyce Bible College in 1990. As years passed God began to use Dr. Lori in the Evangelistic ministries as she traveled from place to place across the Tidewater area included Trinidad doing various conference, tent revivals, revivals, and summits preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
She is a book writer of “Lord Return My Focus Back to You’, and “Transformation”. In 2010 Dr. McKenney received the Black Essence Awards for her last book “Transformation”. God called Dr. Lori McKenney to birth her first church Life Saving Kingdom Church of God in Christ. She also currently serves on the board of Pastors of the Chesapeake District for the Virginia Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. Dr. Lori encouraged people through the Word of God by reaching out to the destitute, the forgotten, and those looked over by society. She has a mandate on her life to preach the Word in season and out of season according to 2 Tim:4:2
