GM1 (@giordano-morandini) is joining us from Berlin for our 181st podcast.

Sliding into every set with high energy beats and powerful kicks, Italian born GM1 is emerging as a newcomer DJ in the Berlin techno scene.
Known for his unique Hard Techno style inspired by trance, hard groove and hardcore, GM1 achieves the creation of fast and dynamic sets that merge into their own experimental entities.

His flavourful, fast and roaring mixing is characterized by the many loop games, in which he samples sounds that make their appearance for brief fragments of the sets, adding funky and dynamic layerings to them.

In this podcast GM1 enters a dynamic flow of Schranz groove, expressing himself in a way that stays true to his mixing style and personality, the mix merging hard basslines, with catchy melodies and hypnotic loops, constantly develops itself into new sounds and twists, that keep it interesting and never monotone.

Mieszkająca w Krakowie DJka oraz autorka serii podcastów Réminiscence, dla której dzielenie się muzyką na żywo stanowi ulubioną formę ekspresji i wymiany energii z otoczeniem. Swoją przygodę z miksowaniem, stanowiącą początkowo tylko pandemiczną odskocznię, przerodziła w konsekwentnie realizowaną pasję.
Gra różne odmiany techno, zarówno te bardziej melodyjne, jak i te mocniejsze, chętnie przeplatając je z nostalgicznym trancem. Mimo niedługiego stażu niejednokrotnie występowała między innymi w takich miejscach, jak Luzztro, Smolna, Prozak 2.0, CrackHouse, Szpitalna czy Hala Odra. Ma za sobą również pierwsze festiwalowe występy, do których zaliczają się Wisłoujście, Carbon Festival oraz Tribalanga.
Poza graniem na żywo, aktywnie rozwija swój kanał na YouTube, gdzie można znaleźć liczne wideo sety, nagrywane w ciekawych lokalizacjach.

Krakow-based DJ and the founder of Réminiscence podcast series, who in playing music finds a favorite way to express herself and connect with the energy around her. What started as a pandemic hobby has become a dedicated passion she consistently follows.
She mixes various types of techno, from melodic to intense, often blending in some nostalgic
trance. Despite her short time in the scene, she's performed at places like Luzztro, Smolna,
Prozak 2.0, CrackHouse, Szpitalna, Hala Odra and many more. She's also had her
first taste of festivals, including Wisłouście, Carbon Festival and Tribalanga.
Apart from live performances, she’s also growing her YouTube channel, where you can find
numerous video sets played in various locations.

My name is DRM. I started on the dancefloor, and now I guide people through musical journeys. I don’t care about likes, trends, or quick fame – I do this my own way, straight from the heart, no bullshit.

I mostly play progressive house, sometimes diving into techno and deeper sounds. I’m in love with hypnotic grooves, trance-like moments, and that raw energy that pulls you in without warning. I like when a set tells a story – from the first beat to the last.

I draw inspiration from Berlin, dark clubs, and the honest roughness of the underground. I play for those who feel the music – not just for fun, but to truly experience something.

For me, DJ-ing is more than mixing tracks – it’s expression, emotion, and ritual. And when I play, I’m in my own world – bringing with me those who are ready to go deeper.
