'Hemisphere' was released late 2019 with 'Act Like You're Home' via @soothsayeronline on a double single. I spent a lot of time trying to craft the mood of this instrumental to match a particular moment I had in my mind for a science fiction story. 

I was imagining the arrival of alien explorers in the far future who find the earth uninhabited by any life. There are, however, two hologram AI programs still active and running. In one part of the planet, they find a virtual pet; a blue 'rainbird' and, in another area, they find an AI hologram made of a vocalist, which through study of earth's archaeological sources they determine to be a siren, as in the Odyssey, rather than a performing musician hologram from the 21st century. Anyway the interpretation of these two holograms then informs the naming of the planet's two hemispheres by these aliens.

Representing the first instalment of a very special album remix package dropping before the close of the year, this interpretation of 'Boundary' (feat. Zellow) from the debut Dro Carey album 'Nothing Is A Solo Project' (released on Soothsayer) arrives courtesy of wave-making Australian production duo X CLUB. (@itsxclub). Completely revamping the style of the original, the downtempo R&B original is transformed into a high-energy yet mystery-infused house roller, with a few welcome electro flourishes thrown in. More remixes are still to come as well as a special package including instrumental versions of the album's collaborative vocal tracks.
