"After delivering an outstanding compilation of contemporary library music back in 2022, Stéréogramme is back with the second opus of his “Interactive Pictures” series.

Walking the same road as last year, paved with new age, freak folk and leftfield synths, the Paris-based label also ventures to new paths like minimalism, no wave and vocal experimentations. Once again divided in two musical panoramas, this 11-track tape will definitely bring back your happy childhood memories to the surface. First, take a nap with the soothing lullabies of Héron Cendré, Peter Graf York, Les Echos Primitifs, Lamina & Bravo Tounky, only to be interrupted by Ronan Riou’s feverish contribution. 

Then, hear the spooky, harebrained stories of Aymeric de Tapol, Leoni Leoni, Houschyar, Geier aus Stahl, Zad Kokar and Firmaet Forvoksen. In short, another marvelous line-up gathered by head-honcho Rako, who made its specialty of unearthing spontaneous yet skillful compositions.

"Niteffect has made a concept album for us, dedicated to Man's Best Friend and our puppy Dalmata Daniel couldn't be more honoured!

This album is Niteffect's debut on our label, but we are not talking about a rookie producer, because he has been releasing music since 2007 mostly on Hamburg-based Kreislauf. His music is mainly characterized by strong emotion melodies, deep basses mixing with downtempo, trip-hop, idm, and deep house sound elements.

Man's Best Friend is an electro-oriented album, sometimes with breaks or other broken beats sound, but the most common that all the tracks have deep emotional synth waves. Niteffect playfully uses these to create melancholic and more upbeat moods, creating a varied but coherent whole, perfectly capturing the changing experiences of a summer vibe."
