Alongside the original, the EP features three diverse remixes from an international selection of artists. Argentina's Kevin Yair delivers a deep and hypnotic take, while US-based producer Ev Rymd reimagines the track with his atmospheric and textured style. Rounding out the package, Brazilian duo Cipriani & Hans Gerd join forces for a collaborative rework, infusing Sonar with driving rhythms and a warm, emotive edge.

Some things in life cannot be measured by numbers or translated into words. Having the privilege to officially remix a track by Hernan Cattaneo is one of them. Among this select group is the Brazilian producer and multi-instrumentalist BRVNOV, who has just delivered his own interpretation of Love Is Coming Back. The original track, released in February 2023 featuring the Egyptian-Canadian duo Husa & Zeyada, presented Zeyada’s hypnotic vocals — which were preserved and carefully repositioned in this new remix. The remix sets an intrinsically hypnotic mood from the start, guiding the listener through a sensitive and immersive journey. The break, wrapped in melodic pads, creates a moment of absolute trance and seems to suspend time before the drop, which is luminary and expansive. This is BRVNOV’s third release on DOC Records, consolidating not only his place in the label’s catalog but also the trust and respect of Gui Boratto. The Talking Heads has always been one of my favorite bands and Once in a Lifetime has been my favorite Talking Heads track. The groove of this tracks, the lyrics and the fantastic vocals of David Byrne, it's all just amazing. Since I also really love progressive house music, I have tried, respectfully, to bring these two worlds together in this unofficial remix. I really wanted to create that super special Talking Heads vibe on the dance floors of today. Enjoy!

The latest release on Tash's Movement Recordings finds the label presenting the eighth installment of its celebrated GLBLMVMT series. Since its launch in 2018, the project has showcased region-specific compilations curated by standout local talents, exploring the progressive landscapes of Argentina, Cyprus, India, France, Sri Lanka, Colombia, and Greece. Now for its eighth edition, the focus turns to the Netherlands, with Dutch artist W&DY curating a nine-track journey featuring some of his country's most creative voices in progressive house.

Getting the release underway is a true legend in Dutch electronic music, Jaydee, who delivers the cinematic and groovy sounds of Luna De Sangre. Best known for his 1992 anthem Plastic Dreams, Jaydee's timeless approach continues to influence dancefloors around the globe. Following on is Alex O'Rion, one of the Netherlands' most acclaimed progressive exports, with The Singing Grove, a deep and richly layered piece that showcases his melodic finesse.

Collection curator W&DY steps in next with Tale of Me, a hypnotic and emotionally charged creation that highlights his unique production voice. Rising Dutch talent Miss Dominguez then makes her mark with Silver Crane, a track that blends delicate atmospheres with driving grooves, bridging sophistication and energy. Daniel Testas follows with Mind Reader, an introspective cut filled with subtle motifs and rolling textures.

The collaborative effort Hartstocht comes from Du more and Clay van Dijk, two names pushing the Dutch progressive underground with their fresh sonic vision. Up next is Callecat with Elevation, a piece that lives up to its name, full of bright harmonics and ascending energy. Austin Dest continues the journey with Remouchamps, a deep and atmospheric work that merges groove and storytelling. Concluding the collection is Stage Van H with And the Journey Begins, a fitting closer full of emotive depth and timeless character.

With a carefully curated selection of exclusive tracks, GLBLMVMT 08 – Exploring The Netherlands highlights the country's rich and diverse progressive scene, while adding another essential chapter to the Movement Recordings legacy.

Release Info: 
A Meanwhile regular and firm favourite, Tantum returns once more with another 3-track EP of supreme quality with Dejavu / It Has To Be Like This / Palindrome. A Berlin-based artist with a rich seam of impressive releases to his name, Tantum has always been comfortable straddling the boundaries between forward thinking Melodic Techno and Progressive House. Since a 2018 debut on EIN2, a century of production credits has seen him a regular on Guy Js Lost & Found, John Digweeds Bedrock and Mangos ever-impressive Mango Alley. Meanwhile has also been a growing force in Tantums production prowess, centred around a pair of high-quality EPs, found in May 2023s Secondary / Suan Pan / Narko and March 2024s Contact High / This is Real / Scatter. An appearance on October 2025s Meanwhile Excursions, Vol. 5 with Pluto, alongside YANIQ, further shone a light on the Germans skill and technique. Now returning with a third original EP, Dejavu is a driving powerhouse complete with a bouncing, growling bassline, juxtaposed against light reverse-reverb touches and beautifully sculpted melodic textures. Building effortlessly, open filters herald the rise and fall of a club-friendly tour de force, while a crisp percussive shell creates the perfect vehicle for the melodic elements to flourish. Continuing the deep, dark themes of its predecessor, a punchy kick propels It Has To Be Like This forward in relentless fashion alongside off-beat hats and a clicking, popping percussive texture. A veritable smorgasbord of analogue synths fills the left-right spectrum with immaculate syncopation, coming to the fore at the breakdown before dropping back into the familiar hypnotic phrasing of earlier movements. The upshot is a delicate affair that provides a nod to Gui Borattos early work. The beautifully sculpted melodic soundscapes continue courtesy of Palindrome, where familiar themes resonate through hypnotically cadenced plucks and spine-tingling bassline progression. Fizzing and cracking percussive touches add to the sumptuous aural collage in an understated fashion before opening up at the mid-point with textured pads. Hitting further heights in the second half, a new melody rotates, gradually rising in intensity to create a warm and blissful conclusion. A musical triptych of the highest order finds Tantum looking to the future with Dejavu / It Has To Be Like This / Palindrome.
