Mercurio is the 19th release of Droid9 South America and the first release of the year 2022, releasing this new version format, remixes of songs that were already released last year.

Mercurio B side contains 3 remixes.
Nikko Mavridis is in charge of the Dharma remix by Imal released on our Athena compilation. It offers us a more hypnotic interpretation, maintaining the particular voices that the original has inspired by Buddhaism.

Sayonara by Ignacio Berardi and Colou Befu remixed by Uruguayan artists Alex Efe and Diego Berrondo, bring us a progressive house version with a breakdown loaded with emotions and harmonies that characterize their productions.

Axel Zambrano returns to work with us after his appearance on our second release with a magnificent performance towards Lattuce Day, one of our first tracks on Droid9 South America created by Cris Rosales. Axel brings us groove and euphoria in an ideal version to keep the dance floor on fire.

Venus A side contains 3 remixes.
We present to Sebastian Busto, big artist from Argentina that had a lot of supports from artist like Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. He is in labels like Sudbeat, The Soundgarden and Replug among others. He is in charge of the “Rename It” remix by Francisco Castro released on our Apolo compilation last year. He offers us a pure progressive interpretation mixing new and fresh sounds. 

Be the Limit by Sinan Arsan is remixed by EMPHI, a young and talented artist. He brings us a spectacular version with his style and essence. The drop and breakdown turn it into a special track for the dancefloor.

Kabi (AR) debuted on Droid9 South America with a special remix for “The Other Side” by Aliens Like Us released in our compilation Afrodita last year. He did a very nice fusion between House groove and Progressive House melodies and harmony.

We present our first Electronic release. wasP, artist from Ireland debut on our team after a support from Guy J. He offers us a very interesting break using sounds from the original and adding a few pads and leads in a progressive house style.

Gabo Martin returned with us after his Juno's Desire EP. This time he offer a collaboration with Jesuan M, Two artists from Argentina with Progressive House music. Beatiful interpretation with an amazing drop. Ideal for breaking up the dance floor.

Elements by Efebros is remixed by Daru, artist from South Africa that debut in Droid9 South America. He bring us an intresting Progressive House interpretation. Really good way to close this "A Side" after the remix from argentinan artists.

Soulmade (AR) Debut on our team with two versions of "Reflections" by J Lannutti, track released last year on our compilation "Poseidon".
The Argentinian producer bring us an euphoric Progressive House remix with a lot of groove that takes the dance floor forward.
The alternative mix is ideal to start the dance. Respecting the melodies of the original track with an interesting addition of some voices that make this version something fresh.

Teleport-X brings Droid9 South America after releasing music on The Soundgarden and becoming one of beatport's top releases.
On this occasion he presents us his first work here remixing Nahue Sintes and his track "Stare" that was released a year ago on the Apolo compilation.
Teleport-x offers us a track full of energy, with an incredible vibe. He managed to play with the emotional melodies that Nahue Sintes proposed in the original to turn it into a relly interesting journey of happines and love.

We are pleased to present another artist from Rosario - Argentina with us.
Nico Serjanovich was in charge to remixing SandBox by Derk that was release on our compilation Persefone. Nico turn the organic house original to a new and energy Progressive House version. Powerfull and uplifting.
The remix becomes a real journey minute after minute. Happiness, energy, suspense and joy.

Today we inaugurate this new section called HEADLINERS, where we invite leading artists around the world to perform sets and release music by our label.

Our first guest is @rickyryanmusic, one of the most important DJs in Argentina 🇦🇷 RR bring us a set that touch all the listener fibers, taking us on a pleasant and nice journey. His mixes are subtle and appropiate, as if all the tracks were made by the same composer. Without doubts, he is the closest thing to a symphony orchestra director.

Carlos Alfonsín is a living legend of electronic music in Argentina, a pioneer of House and Progressive House in the country. With over 40 years of experience, he was a resident of the iconic Clubland in the '90s and of Pacha Buenos Aires, where he defined an era with unforgettable sets that shaped the local scene. At Pacha, he shared the booth with legendary artists such as Hernán Cattáneo, Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, and Danny Howells, establishing himself as an undisputed reference in the underground sound. His immersive style, impeccable technique, and ability to create hypnotic atmospheres have made him a true master of the dancefloor. Cris Rosales at When the Sun Sets, La Cumbre, Cordoba, Argentina | 11.01.2024

Eros, is the 7th EP of Various Artist from Droid9 South America, it includes 3 original mixes of pure Progressive House made by great artists. Among them are Argentine producers such as Konte, Andres Moris, Colou Befu and Ignacio Berardi.

Voice of experience, is the first track on this EP, made by Konte. In this track you can appreciate an ambient and dark sound, along with a very well achieved base, accompanied by a deep house sound to some extent. This creation keeps us in tune all the time, it is an ideal track for any time of the night, either at the end of a warm up or to generate a calmer atmosphere in an extensive set.

Into the light, is the second track, made by Andres Moris. This track obtained the support of Guy J (Echos 11/13/2020), in it we can notice in this creation a fine mixture in the Progressive House style, you can see solid drums accompanied by a powerful bassline, which when combined With the melody it begins to take us on a one-way trip to another dimension. Everything that seemed heavenly turns dark, minimal-style sounds begin to enter our ears which keeps the crowd to keep moving. It is an ideal track for any type of environment , in which listeners will go through different states of mind when being heard.

Sayonara, third track compiled by Colou Befu and Ignacio Berardi. You can see in this creation, a mix between an aggressive yet hypnotic and enveloping sound that progressively mutates and takes us on a journey from beginning to end. The combination of drums, melody and bass makes it sustain a good groove for the dance floor, which holds us to the floor and keeps us in constant motion. Undoubtedly this track can be used to exploit the night on any given dancefloor

Droid9 South America is an Argentine record label founded with a clear vision: beyond musical genres, what truly matters to us is the love for music and the dedication of the artist. We value authenticity, commitment, and good energy above all else.

Founded with a strong human touch, Droid9 South America was created to foster mutual growth between the artists and everyone involved in the music release process. Each artist is treated with the respect they deserve, and they are kept informed at every step of the way, from creation to distribution. We believe that our relationship with artists should be close, transparent, and based on collaboration.

Our first release was a series of compilations represented by Greek gods, the first of which was released in June 2020. Since then, a series of releases have made an impact on major names such as Nick Muir, Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Mariano Mellino, DJ RUBY, among others, even reaching positions in Beatport’s Top 100 and other important charts. The Droid9 family has also worked together on several joint releases, solidifying itself as a strong artistic community.

At the beginning, Progressive House was our signature sound. However, over time, we have opened doors to a variety of genres, including Melodic House & Techno, Indie Dance, Organic House/Downtempo, Electronica, Deep House, Tech House, Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic), Dance Electro Pop, Minimal, and many more. Musical diversity is part of what makes Droid9 South America unique: a space where passion for what is done is what matters most, beyond any label.

In addition to releasing music, we take pride in showcasing our artists in various ways. We organize live showcases and also share recorded sets on our YouTube channel, offering an additional platform for their music to reach more listeners. Through these live events and recordings, we aim to create an even stronger connection with the audience and expand the reach of the artists that are part of our family.
