Cut through the static—Three Photons is broadcasting pure analog soul from a rain-slicked midnight in Chicago

I have been playing around with.....ii V I progressions and the Bebop A dominant scale. I call this one an Indie Dark Jazz flavor. Hope you will like some part of it and maybe hum along before it ends.....

Pearl Cajon Mach 2 – with brushes
Pearl Hi Hat with Zildjian symbols - with brushes - no idea what I'm doing here, but I like working the foot pedal. 

Mics: Neumann TLM 67 (vocal)
AGK 414 & Shure KSM44 on guitars, cajon and hi hat

Software: Pro Tools
Vocals: TG

Mixer: API 24 channel summing mixer (8200/7800)
Stereo Bus processing (API EQ and API compressor)
Final mix down to a MARA MCI JH110 1/4inch 2-track at 15 ips using ATR Master Tape. I used an input and output transformer to give some additional harmonic distortion......I just like pushing the buttons and watching the reels spin…;-)

It has been almost 2 years since I heard a production made in a style completely unknown to me: https://soundcloud.com/tetsuo-dubs/tetsuo-senso. I know the creator personally. I asked him what he would say about making a metal version of the track, as I had ideas for processing...
He has supported the project! For many months (while the track was preserved on my hard drive) he encouraged me to release this song.

The background for the inspiration of course is Homer and the tales on the Trojan war. But Kassandra does not tell a story – it’s a kind of a painting with an ancient scenery or maybe just a sketch: Kassandra in front of the burning city. And it could be a modern painting. We are in a distance of more than 3.000 years to the plot of the ancient tales – and still mankind has Kassandras and tears in front of burning cities.

Working on Kassandra i had in mind from the beginning that Cindy will take the main voc in this song. So i wrote the harmonies and the song structure with that in mind and i love how she sings the song. Kassandra also includes a few notes played with a Greek Baglamas and helps the song to get a special note. This string instrument is the small sister of a Bouzouki.

Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
