His style and sound range from complex poly-rhythms and soundscapes, crossing over to the darker side of techno.
Digital and vinyl releases include output from labels such as, Duality, Combat, Darkfloor Sound, Noodles, Nerve recordings, Digital Distortions, Wired Room and Tribal Waves.
Other collaborative productions include work with artists such as, Dronelock, Boris Noiz (ONtal) as Ingen and Boris Noiz, and Savier (Raw Village Hall) as SAVAGEN.

Ingen's shows have taken him all over the world playing alongside such names as Derreck May, Savier, The Youngsters, The Advent, Whitehouse, and Surgeon

Jilly awoke to the summer breeze floating in through the partly open window, the curtains flayed outwards as the moving air caught and played with the printed material, each movement spilling more light into the bedroom. Through golden half-light she could see him next to her illuminated: hair, jaw, the thick muscles of his upper arm all highlighted as if rendered in golden stencil against the shadow of his body. Jilly smiled and moved forward to place a kiss on his lips and in doing so found herself awake and alone in a murky room strewn with the remains of summers long gone by. She wiped the drool from her cheek, she had dozed off again. Shuffling up, Jilly moved toward the kitchen. Placing her palm against the tap water trickled into the kettle, electrics humming as her palm passed the contact: the chip in her thin wrist recording every instance of resource use, she would be billed later. Jilly had dozed off constructing a message for her son, it was warmer in Finland where there was more space to grow food; she hadn’t been allowed to go, too old for one of the few places with a future. Tilting toward the screen the small viewer sparked: a plastic man revealed half-truths between glossy adverts for objects no one could afford: China & India simmered, macabre refugees streaming out in every direction; the Americans had vanished behind their walls; Russia had realised perfect capitalism where the wealthy could acquire kidneys, wives and rocket shots to the meteors. Britain persevered, steadily extinguishing herself under the beneficence of martial law where those few who remained couldn’t resist the weight of plutocracy. The migrations continued of course, with no water in Africa entire cities ran to Europe, the Euro-Slav Federation had placed automatic gun turrets across the Southern coasts and mechanized genocide kept us safe in our rubble. Finishing her tea Jilly shakily rose, claiming the stale bread she moved to the door and on to outside. The street was quiet, ancient Mondeos rusted in piles, the occasional Toya-Merc flew overhead, flitting from a flooded London of spires to guarded mansions kept safe by extreme credit in Newcastle and Edinburgh. The ducks weren’t there of course, they hadn’t been there in years, along with the trees and the plants they had been eaten or burned. Jilly stood slightly confused alone and small, a tiny figure in the maw of a giant machine with nothing but memories of people she loved; yet love kept pure in the face of the greatest of odds is the greatest thing of all. Her thoughts turned inward to her husband again as she shuffled home in the acrid rain.
Ontal create apocalyptic industrial techno with releases on labels such as Darkfloor Sound, Duality Recs and Shadow Story. It won’t fill you directly with sunshine, but it might just help you to remember what you’re looking for whilst you’re lost in the dark.

Following up the momentous, quadrennial episode from the Erratic founders, we welcome next in the series a duo whose sound and style have no rival, ONTAL. Hailing from Serbia and composed of Boris Noiz and Darko Kolar, we are huge fans of all their works and are extremely thrilled to have them showcased in The Erratic Podcast. Their mixes come few and apart; are always layered and multi-faceted; and with each one of them they simply out-do themselves by raising the bar to unprecedented levels. Just last month, they released their debut album ‘The Topics’ (a collaboration with British duo, Dronelock), that was released on Shadow Story, the label run by the latter pair. In Ontal's mix for us, you get to sample two of the twelve cuts that make the LP, as well as 26 other tracks, loops, and bits and pieces of astounding, beautiful techno – all surgically mixed into 1 hour of abominable sound, remarkable journey. Undoubtedly, this is for the headiest of heads, the bravest of souls, the strongest of hearts. Ladies and gentleman, this is Ontal live in the mix. Enjoy!

Initially meeting in 2007, Davit and Garik aka T_st realised that they share the same passion for music and subsequently joined forces. During the years they just created and learnt in a loop, developing their own sound and musical visions in a small studio isolated from the city for months and years. For them it was a period of a self-recognition, which they consider an ongoing and never ending process. A process that has seen them play every venue in their home city of Yerevan whilst stockpiling an arsenal of hundreds of unreleased tracks, most likely never to see the light of day in their quest of constant evolution. Despite this they started to get signed and release their records only in 2015, but in a short period they signed several releases on record labels such as CRS Recording, Dynamic Reflection, Shadow Story and Sphere Gear.

Orphx [ Sonic Groove / Hands ] Canada


Since the mid-1990s, Rich Oddie and Christina Sealey have been creating a unique fusion of techno, industrial, and electro-acoustic music. Using modular and analog synthesizers, software, location recordings and feedback circuits, Oddie and Sealey draw upon the darker tendencies of techno, electro, and dub, and combine these elements with the experimental aesthetics of early industrial music. Orphx has gained an international following as one of the pioneering acts within the European "rhythmic noise" scene and has more recently come to the attention of techno fans through their releases and remix work on Sonic Groove and Semantica.

They have performed in numerous countries around the world, appearing at celebrated venues such as Berghain (Berlin), Mutek (Montreal) and Qwartz (Paris), and sharing the stage with artists such as Alva Noto, Byetone, Laurie Anderson, Legowelt, Marcel Dettmann, Monolake, Pan Sonic and many others. Oddie and Sealey have also collaborated on audio / visual projects and exhibitions related to their musical work. Orphx have released nine albums and numerous singles on vinyl, cd and cassette. Their most recent work further develops a dark hybrid of techno, dub and industrial that has been met with critical acclaim from many of techno's leading DJs.

Residing in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Dronelock is an exciting collaboration between Martin Cartledge and Alexander Church. Dronelock represents a juxtaposition of opposites. Integrating, analogue with digital, influence with originality, convention with the unexpected.

Techno provides the perfect sanctuary for their production ideas to manifest. Ambient, ethereal soundscapes meet sustained, cluster of tones. A distillation of ideas captured and expressed through the industrial and synthesized, the organic and the abstract. The tracks are produced primarily on analoge hardware with the soul intention to perform them live.

This process allows freedom to experiment with the base level interaction between sound and music, its music which is about as far away from music as you can get before it stops being music.
